Bed was very hard and the furniture i getting outdated.

We love everything about Penthouse Marina Sol. Not only does it have absolutely everything you need, and is very clean and comfortable, the outside space is amazing - 360 degree views!. For awareness, there are 56 steps and no lift. It's all good for the step count but should you have any mobility issues it's something to consider.

Incredible views all around from the deck and through the various windows in the unit. Given the shape of the roof, windows are above your head at an angle and open up and out. Still the views and sounds of the ocean across the street can be heard and appreciated. Unit is spacious and extremely comfortable, with all necessary amenities. We spent more time out and about exploring the island than we did here. However, this area of the island is serene and super chill. There is a parking lot across the street where you can park for free if you happen to have a rental car, and in the evenings there is a food truck that stations there and gets a lot of foot traffic. The host was very attentive throughout the stay. There aren’t too many places within walking distance, so having a car is better if staying here.

No cooking was done, but did notice there wasn’t a decent basic assortment of spices available should we wanted to. Also, wouldn’t have been helpful to have a list or guide of some sort to explain where things were stored throughout the unit. Our even providing little labels for where things are kept. Cushions to outdoor seating looked es to we dirty, but comfy. Bench on deck is tied in such a way the blocks a good angle of beach view.

Spacious apartment with comfortable furniture and a lovely balcony. AC in the bedroom kept us cool at night. The apartment had everything we needed. Located a few mins walk from two restaurants and a beach bar. Location wise, Magdalena do mar is quiet and we drove most days to get to places for hikes and swims. Handy parking and within good reach of levada hikes and the road up to Sao Vicente.

No shops or breakfast spots in the area- nowhere to find baked goods or coffee. A few options in towns up in the hills.
