The apartment was very gross smelling dust and the host was very rude. We spend the rest of our stay without tv, the owner didn't pay for the dstv.The host is a liar. The rooms got molds and bathrooms were very dirty,the linen were old and not clean you could smell dust, was very disappointed.He lied about having washing machine in the apartment. The apartment needs full renovations. The owner is very racist, and he doesnt want well up blacks . Just because we have a nice car and a trailor he then sent security to us to check our trailor but that was not on our agreement. I don't recommend staying at number 48A castleton

THERE WAS NO INDICATION OF THE AMOUNT OF STAIRS AND THE STEEPNESS OF THEM WHICH ALMOST DEFEATED 2 IN OUR PARTY. THERE SHOUD BE AN INDICATION THAT THIS IS THREE STOREY PROPERTY. THERE WAS NO WASHING MACHINE AND THE TUMBLE DRYER WASN'T ALSO THE OVEN DID NOT WORK. NO STORAGE PLACE FOR GROCERIES NUMBER OF BATHROOMS WAS GOOD. PLACE IS TIRED

Owner is a con. We booked for 1 night (8 February 2025) with Booking.com. Booking was accepted, approved, and paid for. The owner informed me 3 days later that his policy is a minimum of 2 nights stay and if I can pay for an extra night into his bank account. No where on Booking.com did it mention anything of a minimum of 2 nights stay. After countless efforts with Booking.com and the owner, by the to solve the matter, a person Pieter forwarded an e mail to Booking.com and cc me on 7 February 2025 to let know that Booking.com may go ahead with canceling the booking. I booked somewhere else and also kept informing Booking.com of canceling the booking as this was an unfair booking. No response to date about refunding my money R1800. Booking.com just respond by replying they will respond in 48hrs.

Dirty, moldy bathrooms, showers unwelcoming with black mould and damp and dirty Walls

The location and facilities in the resort itself are ideal and perfect for a family looking for entertainment.

The unit was in desparate need of maintentance. Two of the toilets were faulty, the showers need deep cleaning, the overall cleanliness was not as expected. The bedding was not hospitality quality, there were not sufficient towels provided for all parties, dishwasher had a terrible odour which was disappointing for the price and this type of accommodation.

Gorgeous apartment, BBQ area on the top floor especially nice. Lovely views. Really nice pool onsite. Very secure.

Host contacted me multiple times prior to the stay asking me to extend the stay which was a little irritating
