Malecon Beach Side Downtown Condo

If you're looking for a peaceful place to spend your holidays, this is definitely not it. While the listing mentions that the apartment is in a lively area, the noise level is truly unbearable. It's located right next to a busy main road and directly above a restaurant that features extremely loud live music—it genuinely feels like the band is playing in your living room. To make matters worse, the doors to the verandah don’t close properly, so all the street noise comes right through. We weren’t able to get a proper night’s sleep before 2 a.m. at any point during our stay. Unless you’re planning to party every night, I would not recommend staying here

The proximity to shops and restaurants is amazing, the views from the porch are stunning, the space is very clean, the beach is right across the street, and we felt very safe the entire time. We hopped around PV for a week and this was by far our favorite spot to stay.

My only complaint was addressed in their description so they do give fair warning. The close proximity to everything makes it a fairly noisy space in the evenings but I was able to put in some ear plugs and slept just fine. Its not an obnoxious noise, just alot of cars driving by and some music from the local clubs.

The central location was great with many restaurants nearby and a panoramic view of the sunset looking west from the spacious rooftop deck..

The noise level from the streets in the bars nearby was overpowering. I don't think they adequately explained just how loud the noise was going to be.

The location is 1/2 block from the ocean... no beach there.

The noise here is horrific. The main hwy passes a few feet away. But what made a nice condo like this unbearable was the live band downstairs that literally shook the walls until 3am all weekend long. I had to sleep in the shower with pillows all around and doors closed. Even then it was a nightmare 😥

The place was really good with excellent location, clean and enough spacious for two or four ( there are two bedrooms with bathrooms inside), my only discomfort was noise at night( very bad), I read it on before rent the place thinking it wasn’t to bad, but it was badly, couldn’t sleep very well.

This property is located in a nice area on the malecón which made walking town easy. The self service entry was nice and having a washer and dryer was convenient.

Although this property is located near the malecón you get no sleep! The restaurant band playing below the condo is loud and might as well be in your living room. There is no mention on the listing that you have to walk thru one bedroom to get to the second. The outside doors and windows do not seal properly so the heat and noise come right in the place. The back bedroom located next to the street is very noise and has an AC unit that does not work. The lock box code and door entry code were given to us in reverse so it took some time to figure out how to get in.

Could use some repairs and some upgrades. The slider doors and windows could be upgraded to double pane, so the traffic noise won't wake you in the morning
