Edge 12 Hamilton Island - Oceanfront villa with buggy

The view was really incredible, that is definitely the highlight. The location is great too, just 3 minutes to front street by buggy, The master is really nice too, being on its own floor, having a spa tub and private balcony. The Lounge was comfortable, TV has all apps. Aircon worked really well too. The pool at the edge resort is really pretty too.

Beds are ok, pillows are uncomfortable! Was a little dirty and dingy in some spots in the kitchen, bathroom shower leaks everywhere, the lights controlled on the screen were annoying and sometimes didn’t work.

The view is spectacular

The sun loungers around the pool were hard plastic with no padding so they were too uncomfortable to laze around on for any length of time. Other guests were just bringing down cushions from their apartments, but I didn't feel good about doing that as they would get covered with sweat and sun lotion. Therefore, although the pool looked beautiful, it wasn't possible to enjoy it much. The property was dirty. The bathrooms and bed linen were good but the rest of the property looked like it hadn't had a thorough clean in a long time. The floors had been swept but it was obvious that they hadn't been mopped. Some of the surfaces had dust on that you could run your finger through. One of the kitchen bins had gunk stuck to the bottom that hadn't been cleaned out. Foxtel didn't work. They sent someone round to fix it 3 days after we moved in and he couldn't fix it, he said he would return to complete the work but never did. I told property management it still hadn't been fixed but they didn't respond until it was too late. They said they would refund me $100 for the inconvenience... they haven't, and they haven't responded to a message I sent.

Best view. Convenient location. Sunset view every night. Great pool.

? Possums/animals in Villa 12 roof space. Would be doing damage in roof cavity by the noise they were making. Valet didn’t show us exactly how to charge buggy.
