Rifugio Stellato

We loved the location - not a busy town at all, but had shops, restaurants and bars, plus a bus stop to everything we needed and wanted to see. The kitchen and washing machine were nice amenities,, plus a great bathroom and shower also adds to the value. We found the bed really comfy, and enjoyed having the outdoor space to relax in too. It was easy to get to, just lots of stairs! And at the bottom of the town there is a free public beach. Cinzia was great, very helpful with buses and info, and fixed the air conditioning same day we arrived.

Almost everything was perfect, we just felt like the flat needed some more cutlery/utensils in the kitchen (plus a tea towel and chopping board would be useful additions!) The furniture could do with a refresh too, just general wear and tear.

Great location away from the hustle and bustle of the main towns! Great restaurant down the road, great rooms, comfortable beds & nice owners! Just down the road from a. Supermarket, perfect to buy things to make breakfast and sit on the amazing balcony and take it all in!

Our hosts were helpful and communicative. The room was clean and conveniently next to the best restaurant we’ve found on the Amalfi coast, La Bontà del Capo. The views from the area are breathtaking.

The monolocale apartment does not have the terrace shown, and is 100 stairs up from the road you can drive to. We were warned about this right after booking, but what we did not know was that either apartment is hard to reach without renting a car; the part of the town they are in is 500 stairs up from where the bus from Sorrento leaves you. This was brutal with luggage, but doable if you are looking for an adventure and a lot of exercise. The apartment itself was quite small and really not well stocked; there was not a single trash can inside, for instance. It was extremely humid inside and all of my clothes became damp after a day.

Our hosts were so kind and welcoming. They met us down at the street to indicate parking and take us to the room. It's situated after a couple or staircases, it is cosy and sweet. Very nice! The recommendations for dinner and a shop were all great!
