Plumtree Farm

Friendly and very accommodating hostess (Hanelie) always ready to assist. Splash pool for kiddies as well as bigger pool. Farm life/feel with horses roaming, dam. Not at all far from town, even though it has the feel,, good area.

Not a 'didn't like' but more a tip. Salt and pepper, even just the sachets. And steak/sharp knife. That was all that I 'missed' for my steak braai 🙂

The Farm is stunning and tidy! Beautiful veiws of the dam and surrounds. The stoep area with the comfy couch was perfect for getting some rest and taking in the atmosphere.

We know it's a farmhouse, with beautiful horses on site, but the flies were a bit of a story. Also, the wood floor/ceiling above meant we heard most movement and conversations happening up there.

A truly beautiful and cosy cottage, I loved the old world charm and Louisette our hostess put so much love and effort into creating a truly warm and inviting space. The location is lovely and peaceful with beautiful views of the mountain, a perfect getaway for our small family of three.

One of the most memorable stays I’ve had in a while. Louisette has truly created a little oasis in this small town. Plumtree’s attention to detail is an 11/10, from the full litre of milk (not a Parmalat Triangle milk in sight) to the french press coffee and beautiful art in the rooms. The tranquility and soulfulness of this farm is enough to make me want to sleep over here every time I pass through Riviersonderend. Thank you for an incredibly restful stay.

We stayed here overnight on our way to Hermanus, beautiful farm in a very quiet area. We checked-in later than expected but it was no problem

Relaxed quiet setting, room comfortable, horses added attraction, nice braai area. Appreciated the use of the main stoep up front. Close to town for supper. Liked walk in shower and hot water. excellent king sized bed.

Both Pools dirty, septic tank outside room smells, flies a bit of a problem they go with horses i guess. I think the main flat with separate bathroom etc is much better option. Generally we were Ina quiet period, but if services are offered they should be usable eg pool.
