The apartment is much larger than it appears. It has been decorated a bit since the pictures were taken for the listing, the owners also added plants which make it feel homey. It is very light and the balcony is huge. The furniture was in good condition, with the couch a larger size and the bed seems to have a memory foam mattress. It was extremely comfortable - the middle ground between too soft and too firm. We appreciated having a desk to work at. The apartment was very clean. Parking is free, there are about 10-15 spots close to the building and an overflow lot (always empty & with a dedicated spot) a few steps further. We were hesitant about booking because the pictures make it seem impersonal but the owners have taken reviewers' comments onboard and made definite improvements. We spent more time there than we intended due to the weather and enjoyed our stay...especially the balcony. We booked before our dog passed - it would have been easy to stay with a pet. We saw many people walking their dogs in the grass in front of the building and around the complex. The owners will meet you at an office building as it is distinctive and easy to find. The apartment's building is 30 seconds down the road. This was not clear from the check-in instructions - we were told where to go but not that it was only a meeting spot (you'll park in the office building's reserved spot...we never saw other cars there...not sure if the building is operational). The owners live on the same floor as the rental so you won't be waiting long.

As others have noted the shower does not have anything to keep the water off the floor. I understand the challenge of adding a curtain but would think a plexiglass partition would be easy to install. As it is, you need to wipe up the floor after each shower. The side of the vanity is starting to warp from the water...it seems guests have the view that if the host does not care about the water, why should they. We would have preferred more silverware - even though we do dishes frequently when there are only 4 of each item, they are used quickly. Note that the entrance to the building is on the opposite side of the building from the balcony/parking. The owner opened the garage for us to unload closer to the elevator which was much more convenient than carrying everything halfway around the building (we are full-time travelers and carry kitchen items). Also note that the apartment is a short walk to town, around 15 minutes.

Spacious apartment and pleasant interior. Spacious connecting balcony between sitting room and bedroom with beautiful view. Close by to the mall and shops. Has a very pleasant garden close to the building and flowers around the main building.

Small issue with the very slow draining of water on bathroom floor from shower over bathtub. Needs fixing.

Our host was very kind and helpful with all our questions and requests. The apartment was clean and we had everything we needed.

Really clean & with all the extras you need, like coffee pods, shampoo etc. Wonderful comfy bed, super balconies, really helpful host, very good location for the town centre
