"Relaxing Break at the Cockloft."

We have stayed at the Cockloft before and we chose to return. The location is lovely. It is very peaceful, with an idillic view over a walled garden. Bishops Cannings is close to Avebury and Marlborough and is convenient for local attractions. The loft is very comfortable.

This isn't really a dislike, but we were caught out on our first visit. The Cockloft doesn't have any kitchen staples, such as cooking oil or herbs. If you are planning to cook, bring these along. I know this is optional, but the Cockloft doesn't provide these items.

Privacy and quietness of location. Well appointed and comfortable facilities. Little gem! Proximity to ancient sites ideal. Birds in garden, especially the green woodpeckers

Everything! Well designed, well-equipped, comfortable, spotlessly clean. Beautiful garden and outside space for guests. Peaceful surroundings. Near to places we wanted to visit.
