Amenities were shabby and one toilet was loose. Not much effort made with the place but then it is very reasonably priced
AUThe facilities are basic but where else can you walk naked from your outdoor shower to your cabin and only worry about the wildlife and the occasional low flying aircraft seeing you.
Tee and coffee sachets and perforated loo paper would make it a little more upmarket.

Info & photos on Booking.com website misleading/unclear - No clear differences between options explained - Eg. For me it is strange that the place with an "indoor" shower only has an outside kitchen, (from what I could see), while at the wooden cabins there is a inside kitchen with the outside shower (open - not clear on photo's or description that there's no door...) We booked an extra night, but was very extremely disappointed due to the following : Eskom maintenance was SCHEDULED (No electricity ?06:00 am to about 21:00), BUT WE WERE NOT INFORMED BEFOREHAND, VERY POOR FEEDBACK (STILL WAITING FOR A REPLY for a reply from one person we tried to contact) AND GIVEN ONLY AT ABOUT 18:00. NO ASSISTANCE OFFERED (Eg. small gas stove, help with indoor fire place) We actually considered driving back to Pta at around 19:00, even though we paid for that night already
BEClean and quiet accomodation in an atypical location. We were literally in the middle of the nature.

ZMJust a suggestion. for anyone leaving very early in the morning as we did. Perhaps a locked drop box for keys at the gate?
ZASimple wooden cabins located next to a tiny airfield. What more could one ask for? Especially as there were buck on the other side of the fence in the morning and an outdoor shower with the hottest water and a view.

BEYou have your own cabin with a beautiful and cozy terrace, where you can spot zebras, ostriches, and more up close. The cabin consists of two double beds and a seating area. It's small and cozy with a stove. You must enjoy outdoor living because you have an outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower, and outdoor toilet. They are all covered, but you may get wet when going to the toilet when it's raining . This was not a problem for us; it was simply delightful to spend a few nights here. Be sure to light up the barbecue, and if you don't feel like cooking, visit the market where you can eat, taste, and enjoy. A big thank you to Spa and Martin, who were available for everything during our stay.
