Hector's Bothy flat

Todo!!! La cocina super equipada, todo super limpio, bien situado y con mucho gusto!!!

Quizás los colchones que para nosotros eran muy blandos y la entrada al apartamento!!! Quizás lo señalaría y lo pondría más acogedor con un cartel y una planta. Y un cartel en el baño de cómo va la ducha.

Hector's flat is just lovely! The view is truly stunning, the sitting room is so comfortable. I visited for three nights with three friends and the flat was spacious for us. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We ended up having breakfast at Hector's downstairs which was scrumptious. We did not end up meeting him, but everything was taken care of and it was nice to know he'd be very close in case we needed it. The location was great for us as we traveled by train and bus and the stations were just around the corner. It is also a perfect starting point for an easy and beautiful walk over the Skye Bridge. A Co-op is around the corner. The flat is upstairs, so mobility is necessary. We'd be happy to return any time.

The apartment is so spacious and beautifully done it. It has a gorgeous view and lovely cafe underneath.

Nothing really, although it was very bright for sleeping! That’s Scotland in summer! Once the curtains were open people in the parking area could see straight inside! Nice place though, I’d stay again.

The double bed was very soft/not particularly comfortable.

Hector's bothy flat was SOO cozy! We stayed in 2 hotels and 3 rentals over our holiday, and Hector's was by far our favorite! The view was amazing and location extremely convenient. Train access less than 5 minute walk away, and easy parking if you drive. The bothy flat literally felt like a home away from home, not just a place to stay for a few days.

The location of Hectors Bothy was perfect and with easy access to the Ilse of Skye. The flat was light, well equipped and very comfortable. Met Hector briefly (very friendly) when we had a delicious breakfast in the cafe below the flat.

There wasn’t much not to like. Although there were not many places open to eat in the evening. That said we did find a wonderful fish cafe to eat (outside seating or takeaway only) and the Chinese takeaway was ok.
