We really liked the location, thanks to which we could visit the Ordesa & Monte Perdido National Park and the Steppes of Huesca. There were well-stocked shops and restaurants in nearby towns. Despite the exceptional heat, our apartment was comfortably cool. We also took refreshing baths in a nearby mountain river. In the evenings we rested under the starry sky on the terrace overlooking the vegetable garden. And in the morning we were woken up by the village roosters. The apartment and the kitchen were perfectly equipped. We prepared breakfasts there using products donated by the hosts from their own vegetable garden.

Very good place to sleep for the night, if you are hiking in the National Parks around. It has all what you need.

The flies. It can bother you while eating or just chilling outside. Not sure why there are so many flies in the area, but it can be an issue for people more sensitive to it.

Larisa, the hostess was super friendly and nice. Even though we don’t speak Spanish, communication with her was easy (she provides an option to chat with her on WhatsApp so we could use Google translate). She provided us with anything we asked for (and also some of her own grown vegetables!) The apartment is nice and the structure has the local genuine style. The location is very quiet and pastoral. Since it’s isolated, you can see an amazing starry night.

Some basic items missing in the kitchen: electric kettle (we boiled water in a pot), salt and pepper, oil etc. It should be noted that we got anything we asked for, but still, at some point we didn’t want to impose anymore. Some of the furniture is a bit weary (living room sofas). The location is extremely isolated, there is practically nothing without getting into the car (it’s a 10 minutes ride to the nearest grocery store in Fiscal).

During hot summer days (+ 30°C), the apartment and especially the bedrooms can get very hot making it less comfortable to sleep. Adding an airco unit would be a big advantage!
