La Terrazza sul Borgo - Montefioralle Apartment

Hieno historiallinen paikka. Huoneisto oli erittäin siisti ja hyvin sisustettu. Todella hyvä asiakaspalvelu. Täällä tuntee itsensä tervetulleeksi. Hieno pieni kylä lähellä viinitiloja.

Kylässä on rajalliset palvelut eli kaupassa kannattaa käydä läheisessä kylässä.

Super place. Very clean, with a lovely balcony. A few choices to eat close by and a quaint place. Ideal for an overnight stay while traveling through.....

Breakfast was adequate but not amazing, perhaps just our preference but it was quite basic....

Everything five star castle. Matteo was very generous. He prepered for breakfast croissants, jam, juices, cookies, coffee, tea, etc...

Only the internet was weak.

Matteo was super helpful, friendly and professional. The town had a wine festival on when we arrived so parking was challenging but he helped us to find a space quickly and easily. The property is gorgeous and clean, as is the town itself. The restaurants there are all fantastic and the views stunning. We will absolutely come back

During our four weeks stay in an Apartment near Castelfiorentino we had the opportunity to visit the "Chianti Classico Expo in Greve in Chianti", and we decided it was not a good idea to drive back to Tonda in the evening after visiting this wonderful wine fest - very smart decision! Montefioralle is a beautiful medieval small town high above Greve, and the appartment is right in the heart of town in a beautiful centuries old building with lots and lots of character. Matteo is super-friendly and helpful, he runs an Enoteca on the ground floor of the building and that is where you get the keys (if you arrive at daytime - else he will always suggest a perfect solution, he communicates brilliantly). The restaurant he suggested for the evening (La Castellana) provided the best Truffle treatment we had during our entire Tuscanny stay.

A little tough hiking up the road from Greve after the wine fair (but Matteo does warn!), but worth every effort!

It was really lovely, so tastefully rebuilt and decorated.

Everything was perfect for us. It’s a castle on a hill, so there are stone steps within the apartment. I had a new hip recently but was fine getting about.

Matteo was very welcoming and super friendly! His place was very cute, spacious, cozy with a nice terrace where we enjoyed our coffee and breakfast. Right in the heart of the little village of Montefioralle. Highly recommanded
