Hidden Gem in a great location very near Isle of Skye

Flat was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Carley was wonderful, even offering to bring over things we may need due to there being a scheduled power cut during our stay. Location is great if you want to explore the Isle of Skye, with a Spar right next door which is an added bonus. Reserved parking right in front of the flat is great if you're driving.

Bed was a bit soft for our liking and a dryer would have been helpful to dry clothes.

Das Haus liegt ein bisschen versteckt zwischen dem Balmacara Hotel und dem kleinen Spar-Markt

L'appartement est vraiment très beau, arrangé et décoré avec soin. Les pièces sont agréables et la vue sur le jardin est un plus. Il y a une carte affichée au mur dans la cuisine avec des conseils de voyages, le top pour avoir des idées et des astuces. Le parfait point de départ pour visiter l'Ile de Skye. On adore.

Plein de moustiques dans le jardin au mois de mai. (c'est la nature).

Die Wohnung ist mit zwei Schlafzimmern, einem Wohnzimmer und einer großen, gut ausgestatteten Küche sehr großzügig geschnitten. Toll ist die Lage, man ist sofort auf der Isle of Skye - wo das Wohnen teurer ist - und am Eilean Donan Castle. Praktisch ist auch der direkt nebenan liegende Supermarkt. Direkt am Hof startet ein netter Spaziergang auf einen Aussichtshügel. Das Haus liegt an der Straße, aber von Verkehr haben wir nichts gehört.

Carley was on hand if anything went wrong, great location across the road from loch which was lovely at night just to look over . Flat was immaculate when I arrived , everything on hand if needed, ironing board , iron, hairdryer , linen basket, pegs etc ,books and some games there too , beds were so comfy , small garden where you could sit . Spar and Balmacara Hotel at either side, can see why its called the hidden gem , it sits sideways in middle of them both , missed it on arrival 🤭 .I gave 10/10 on everything as I could not fault one thing about it. It's not far from the Skye bridge , 2 or so miles , if you've kids Manuelas wee bakery is a must , felt like a big kid there, bakery 🍪, pizza 🍕 & distillery 🥃 small crooked houses , was like something out of a fairytale , in Armadale , Milan Donan Castle near Armadale too , overall 👌 and if back to Skye would definately return here . Photos i took were on day of leaving as forgot to take when I arrived so beds were stripped .

Very close to amenities, comfortable bed, well equipped suite and full sized kitchen. Wonderful private garden.
