BRESSOL DELUXE Apartments

I’ve been to Puerto Pollensa many times with my family and it is one of the safest, up market and family friendly places I have had the pleasure of staying. Pollensa is a small town, only five or six streets deep and everything is within walking distance. The Bressol apartments are located about 100 yards from the main square with restaurants and the main church. The apartments are in an excellent location, so central. However, they are one of the quietest set of apartments I’ve stayed in. So location wise they cannot be beaten. The apartments are family run and I had a few discussions with the owners prior to arrival. They are so accommodating and during our ten night stay I was contacted on three occasions to see if I needed towels or cleaning, all done at a time suitable for us. This contact was fantastic. Our apartment was a two bed, with a great lounge, good size balcony and kitchen, which has everything you need, including a filter coffee maker. The pool area was everything I wanted, good size pool, loads of loungers and tables with chairs. Bearing in mind the location, you can see the church spire from the pool, most of the time we had the whole place to ourselves. No fighting for sun beds, no getting up early for a space, it was something I’ve never seen before !!! All in all, this has been an incredible stay and I would wholeheartedly recommend these apartments. I’m already planning my next stay here

These family run apartments are great. I have nothing negative to say about them

Very spacious and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Large, deep pool with pool toys for the children. Excellent, central location. Apartment cleaned a number of times with fresh towels provided. Avelina was extremely helpful regarding any requests we made.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment and travelled as a family of 5- me and hubby, our 2 sons (29 and 31) and our 6 year old granddaughter. We loved the space this offered. It was like a maze and we could chill out as a family or independently if we wanted to. The apartment is right by the square and everything is within walking distance (or taxi back from the supermarket in the heat). Avelina was the perfect host-meeting us late at night upon our arrival and always on hand if we had a query or problem. The TV didn’t work when we got there and a message to Avelina resulted in a brand new TV arriving the next morning. This was important for us as we watched a film every night once our granddaughter was tucked up in bed. The inside of the apartment - large lounge, dining room and quiet room. The kitchen is large and there is a utility room (with washing machine) off the kitchen, and a balcony with bench like seating also off the kitchen where we ate when the weather wasn’t too hot. There was also washing lines at the back of this balcony. There was a further balcony which wrapped around the lounge, quiet room, all the way to the master bedroom. The master bedroom was huge with an en-suite comprising of a shower over the bath, loo and 2 sinks. The 2 twin rooms were big enough for our sons and granddaughter. There is a separate bathroom with a separate shower within. The pool area was fab-it’s deep but we can all swim and there are inflatables that people can use. There are plenty of sun loungers and 2 parasols if you get there first thing (which we did lol!) The air conditioning in the apartment was brilliant and we really needed it! The location was fabulous, it was quite noisy at night with the local kids playing football, basketball or just hanging out. This didn’t bother us in the slightest and for me, added to our holiday.

Couple of things but they didn’t spoil our holiday at all. The electrics frequently tripped but usually when we were cooking-hobs and oven on, kettle boiling and washing machine on. The apartment could do with some modernisation, particularly the family bathroom, kitchen and the drawers in the bedrooms (they were hard to open/close but the rustic nature of the house was lovely.

Location was spot on for us on a short break.

Water pressure was not great and the second bathroom was not useable. We did not report as we were there for only a few days.

Poor standard of cleaning. Stains in toilets, bath and kitchen as they weren't cleaned properly ( you just need to look at the pictures) and we had to go out to buy cleaning products and toilet paper and clean it ourselves. Broken handle on toilet door, guest stuck in bathroom as couldn't open it. Host Avaline never came near us when we arrived and left to fend for ourselves and wouldn't come to discuss issues with us. Offered 10% refund to compensate for our issues which we said we would accept, unfortunately a month on Avelina hasn’t paid it despite several requests. It’s a shame about the poor cleaning and lack of upgrading within the apartment as it's a great location and if repairs etc were done and employ a maid service to clean it would be ideal as the apartment is massive. Another guest in her other apartment said they had no hot water and couldn’t get her to come out, so couldn’t shower . Other apartments in the block owned by her family and not shown as Apartmentos Bressol Deluxe were lovely, pity she didn’t look after hers like them. I wouldn’t recommend her apartments to anyone, shame as it could have been a great place

Amazing pool area, great location to town square, easy to park, good living area and laundry with washing machine and very nice balcony
