Beach Apartment Brisa Marina by Sealand Villas

Location was perfect, as we had a family member with mobility challenges. The apartment is a short walk from all the amenities of Port De Pollenca. The apartment was very spacious, 2 large double/twin rooms and a decent sized single room. The kitchen was full size with plenty of glasses, plates and cutlery, with a full size fridge and dishwasher. The veranda was very large, with room for a full size table, plus 3 sunloungers. It was directly across from the beach, with wonderful views out across the Med.

The apartment is directly above a restaurant, also called the Brisa Marina (wonderful Paella, and very friendly staff by the way). The only issue was that there was little soundproofing, particularly in the rear bedroom, which means you could hear the staff speaking to each other, up to 11.30am at night, and from around 8am the following morning. There was also a machine they used which sounded like an intermittent generator, and that came on without fail at 8am each morning. Luckily the family are early risers, as it was difficult to sleep past 8am.

The location was excellent, very convenient for the local nightlife and restaurants. There was a good amount of cutlery, crockery and glasses. The place although tired, was clean. There was a lovely balcony and seating outside.

There was only A/c in the bedrooms that was not very effective and leaked water all over the floor. The living room and kitchen were unbearably hot as the temp was in the 30's.The showers were very poor and the water kept changing temperature and mainly ran cold (which was ok whilst the weather was so hot). The plaster was flaking off of the walls, the bathrooms were tired and the beds were small and uncomfortable. The rubbish had to be taken several streets away and if you left anything in the bins they would take 150 euros out of the deposit which seems excessive! The unit was generally clean but there was only seating for 3 people comfortably on the sofa. (the unit sleeps 4). It would be nice if the kitchen had been slightly better equipped with dishwasher tablets and dishwashing liquid. It makes it easier to keep the place clean and tidy. There was no ice making facility or trays and only one small sachet of salt and pepper.

Its size,location and its amazing balcony were all perfect.

The fact that the key had not been left in the security box outside the property and we had to wait an hour for the key to arrive. There was no apology from the owners. Neither shower worked properly as the water pressure and heating were very temperamental.

Fabulous location, across the road from the beach, very close to bars and restaurants, clean and comfortable apartment

No mirror in the twin or single bedroom, lack of power sockets in bedrooms, only one key for apartment, only three sun beds on terrace.
