Apartamentos Ernesto

Perfect location with a view to the ocean. The host is super nice and helped us with anything we ever needed. Apartment was very clean and fresh. Very comfortable beds. Highly recommend!

An oven in the apartment would be nice for sometimes cooking for a stay in dinner or lunch. Restaurants in Puerto de Mogan are not as good as they used to be.

There are a quite a few steps up to the apartment which wouldn’t be great for people with mobility issues

Ernesto was an excellent host he lives under the apartments and we seen him most days. He always checked we had everything we needed. On arrival he walked to the bus depot to greet us and had put a bottle of water in the fridge. The apartment was well equipped and we had a mid-week clean to change towels etc: lovely views from the shared terrace on the rooftop. Plenty of seating and umbrellas available. Ideally placed for the beach and restaurants. Would definitely check availability on our next holiday in Gran Canaria.

We both found the beds too hard although this is our personal preference. We didn’t realise that one apartment had a balcony/terrace not directly attached but up a flight of stairs. This was fine and well equipped table, chairs & umbrella but a bit of a pain if you want to eat or have a drink outside.

our apartment was the one that did not have direct balcony access. it was a misunderstanding between us and Ernesto. it was not possible to change upon arrival, as other apartments were full. I’ll get it right next time and ensure it’s agreed in writing!

Parking is ok if you get a free space which we did but we also used underground car park 9 euros 24 hours. The host will explain it.

The location was ideal. Minutes walk from the beach, restaurants etc. Ernesto was very helpful and came to meet us to take us to his apartment. The roof terrace is accessed via a steep wrought iron staircase. Not an issue if you're reasonably fit but just something to be aware of. Regular towel and bed change. We'd definitely go back.

Everything. Ernesto was a fabulous host, so much so that he even went to the bus station to meet us as we told him we were coming in by bus, but forgot to tell him it was a transfer bus🤦‍♀️ so we arrived at the apartment before he did, but didn’t take him long, as the bus station is about a 10 minute walk away.(You can get a bus from the airport straight to Puerto de Morgan around €8 one way it takes about an hour and 15 minutes). We were in apartment 3 at the top which had fantastic views over the bay. Our apartment was very clean and tidy, and well equipped. I must say the bed was super comfortable. My partner counted 80 steps to get to our apartment, and the shorter route was 50 steps. We were within walking distance of everything. There are some fabulous restaurants nearby. I must add (Ernesto was that much of a good host, I told him that there was a cricket which was keeping me awake at night. Not for long, Ernesto soon got shot of him LOL can’t wait to go back.

A wonderful apartment, with fabulous sea views. Ernesto was a great host and happy to help. The property was really clean and well equipped for self catering. We will stay again. Thanks Ernesto!
