Billy's Las Rocas Apt Playa de Mogan with pool access

The excellent staff at Billys. 1 They gave us a late check out. 2 Three sets of keys supplied 3 We locked car keys into apartment upon departure within 45 mins they had us on the road.

Great location. Walking distance to bus station, harbour, beach, bars , restaurants and shops. Plenty of room in apartment, felt safe, kitted out with fully functional kitchen.

It wasn’t a problem for us but there’s a steep hill which would be a struggle for anyone with walking difficulty.

Clean, comfortable accommodation within walking distance of the resort. Efficient check-in. We had an issue with the kettle leaking and it was replaced very quickly. Laundry room a bonus.

The property is advertised with access to a spa and gym facilities payable locally. This was NOT available. This was the reasons for choosing this accommodation. The advertising is incorrect and needs to be changed to say subject to availability and when available where it is. The office informed us it is usually available in the llevo hotel but was not for our stay as it was full with their own customers. They did not check whilst I was there they just told me it wasnt available. I went to the office to show them the wording on booking.com as they asked me to go to the office to show them the information and said really not showing any empathy and quite dismissive it was incorrect. Poor communcation and customer service skills.

perfect size, we travelled as a family of 6, i loved that the sofa could be used as a bed as one of my daughters has to sleep with a light on so didn’t want to share a room and keep the other daughter awake, so no arguments. lovely and clean, towels were fresh every couple of days, cleaner was lovely the list goes on, couldn’t fault it.

there wasn’t anything i didn’t like, i was aware of the ten min walk to beach/harbour so expected it, the only thing if i had to pick something was the balcony size but obviously that cannot be changed and again i knew it was quite small when booking so can’t complain, only mentioning as on those nights where kids are tired it would have been nice to want to sit in balcony and have a little drink, but the air con unit made the outside balcony hot and kept dripping so not really an enjoyable space, again not complaining just an observation.

The location was too far. We weren't offered any help with our suitcases. It was a 15 minute walk up hill and lots of steps

Quiet location, clean and comfy beds

Mogan was recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed! I booked Las Rocas Apt not really thinking about its location, The property was a bit of a walk out of Mogan but not so far that you couldn't walk back to the resort, it was a slight incline to get back to the apartment and the last hill up to the apartment was murderous.......so steep! we became very fit over the week. The apartment itself was very roomy having 3 bedrooms, A double a twin and a bedroom with bunk beds. The kitchen made up part of the living room and was very well stocked, with proper sized mugs for coffee, and decent sized tumblers for the odd G&T. The bathroom was small but serviceable also very clean. There was a balcony, very compact but cozy. The pool was in town so quite a distance from the apartment, but this we thought was quite a good idea as you were near to all the bars and restaurants so it in fact was very convenient! Billy's Café/restaurant was a god send, not only were the staff lovely but the food was really great, Marta looked after us beautifully, we wont forget her in a hurry. Would we choose this apartment again? the answer would have to be yes!

Not a lot really and they would only be a constructive criticism! The fake flowers on the balcony and in the lounge area looked sad and therefore made me feel sad, it would be better if they were not there at all. The shower was a bit of a challenge and we were trying to come up with ways of not flooding the bathroom floor, clearly it was just the design of the shower and nobody's fault, but we did have fun challenging each other as to who could manage to keep the water in the shower area. We arrived late, after spar had closed, so we had nothing to eat or drink, there was a suggestion when booking asking if there were any other requirements, I now wonder if that meant, someone could have arranged to have the basic items like bread milk coffee tea etc., but it wasn't clear, I now with that i had asked, we will know in the future, to either ask or bring our own supplies with us. I drew the short straw and got the bedroom with bunk beds in, this was not a problem as the bed was extremely comfortably and I slept well, I was however saddened that when the cleaners came, huge care was taken with the other bedrooms but mine was hardly touched, but no matter I cleaned it myself! Oh and the worst thing.......Billy's was shut on Sunday and Monday, we thought it was just Marta's day off so when we came down into town on Sunday morning we were devastated! but take this as a compliment, we only wanted to come to billy's because it was our favourite eating place!
