Amarre Bay

The location of Amarre Bay is superb! As soon as you arrive you see the view and you feel like you could stay forever. There is a lift to the first floor apartment but we didn't use it. Puerto del Mogàn is very pretty with plenty to do and see for a week. We didn't hire a car, we travelled from the airport to Mogàn on the 91 bus costing 8.60 euros each. It's an easy journey taking about 1hr 20 minites. The bus station in Mogàn is very close to the apartment. The apartment has everything you need, the shower is great and the hot water was continuous. The bed is a super king with a memory foam topper which makes it very comfortable. There are lots of towels including beach towels. Dishwasher tablets are provided but take some tablets if you want to use the washing machine. Take a walk up to the viewpoint to the north of the bay. The view is spectacular. We ate at the restaurant Salunna and it was superb. We would definitely stay at Amarre Bay again.

The location, the balcony and the view were exceptional. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was plenty of wardrobe space in the bedrooms. While we were there the electric boiler for the hot water exploded. The boiler was replaced within an hour or so and the cleaning up was handled quickly and efficiently by the host so it did not impact our holiday at all.

There was no air conditioning in the bedrooms and the air conditioning in the living room was not powerful enough to reach the bedrooms. There were loose floor tiles in the front bedroom and the back bedroom was very cramped with not much space around the beds. A safe would have been useful to store valuables, passport etc.

Fabulous spacious apartment ideally situated for the beach, restaurants and the town. A welcoming host greets you on arrival where you are out at rest. Nice extras like a bowl of fresh fruit and a good bottle of water to get you started.

The kitchen could have had more crockery that was in a good condition.

the apartment was excellent everything you need really good quality. The views from the terrace were amazing will definitely come back.

The host, Danny, was fantastic, super friendly, and helped us with everything. There was a bit of flooding due to the tropical storm on Gran Canaria, and he went out of his way to get us what we needed.

The apartment was beautiful. The terrace with couches fab. The view over the beach amazing. The the proximity to restaurants. There was nothing not to like. Top quality property and building.
