It is a very big, beautiful, well-maintained property. There is a big garden, park and also olive trees. The view is wonderful. It is a quiet place in the countryside (If you have loud neighbours, it will be hard, because the apartments are close each other and inside you can hear the voices.)The swimming pool is clean and it's quite big. The house is old in Tuscany style and it gives you good experience. It keeps coolness inside. It is close to small and wonderful town Radda in Chianti. I love the view from our kitchen (olive trees). The kitchen is very big with the big table (wonderful). The bedrooms are quite big. The hosts are very nice and helpful. There is a very good wifi (also in the swimming pool area).

It is countryside property so there are a lot of flying insects (flies, wasps, mosquitos,...). It was sometimes irritating that they were buzzing. The first day when we came our break in the car was blocked by a small stone from this property driveway. ( The main road is covered by small stones.) We had to have our car repaired by mechanic from Radda. The hosts helped us to contact with the mechanic. In the kitchen There is a basic equipment. There were not enough glasses. There were not tea cups, only small coffee cups. There was not a washing machine in the apartment. There were not sufficient supply of toilet paper so we had to ask hosts and we had to wait whole day to get it.

Kitchen facilities for own cooking. The property was a paradise in the hills.

Awesome stay. Beautiful pool and gardens. The interior is dated but that added to the charm of a summer holiday in Italy :) The hosts were lovely and attentive.

We enjoyed the stay at Le Selvole very much. It is situated in the heart of Chianti classico, and from our appartment we could see the tower in Radda, a short 3-km drive away. Our apprtment was well suited for a family of four, with much soce and the essentials we needed for cooking and relaxing. Outdoor areas and common facilities for use are also possible, and we regret that we didn’t try the outdoor pizza oven. The calm and remoteness of the house within the garden and between the rolling vineyards gives a gentle and relaxing athmosphere. High temperatures during our stay made the swimming pool extra refreshing and a necessary asset. From Le Selvole it is easy to explore the area further, and friendly wineries and other wonderful Chianti sites are just a short drive away.

There was no breakfast. The location was amazing. The grounds are beautiful. The apartment is spacious.

The pillows on the bed were atrocious. They were so thin it felt like you didn’t have a pillow. It was very noisy at night. The units are separated by a door and you could hear your neighbors until all hours of the night. The noise from the upstairs unit came through the bedroom closet.
