Unser Aufenthalt in den Mantzaris Apartments war perfekt! Dieser Ort strahlt eine bezaubernde Ruhe aus und ist gleichzeitig perfekt gelegen, um die Schätze des Peloponnes (Epidauros, Mykene, Nafplio, etc.) zu erkunden. Alles ist per Auto leicht erreichbar. Der Ort Epidavros liegt 15 Gehminuten entfernt und liegt malerisch in einer weiten, klaren Bucht und ist von einer grünen Landschaft umgeben, oft mit Pinien und Olivenbäumen. Es gibt einen kleinen Hafen mit Fischerbooten und kleinen Yachten mit dem typischen Flair mit kleinen Tavernen und Cafes: Das Apartment ist ein Juwel! Die Lage direkt am Meer ist unschlagbar – Meeresrauschen inklusive. Jeden Morgen sind wir vor dem Frühstücken eine Runde im Meer geschwommen – manchmal begleitet von Schildkröten. Auf der hauseigenen Strandterrasse direkt am Meer mit eigenem Sonnenschirm, Liegen und Sitzgelegenheiten haben wir jeden Morgen gefrühstückt und so manchen Abend bis spät in die Nacht die Atmosphäre genossen. Die Wohnung selbst ist top ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was den Aufenthalt angenehm macht. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Besitzer Maja. Sie ist unglaublich herzlich, nett und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Man merkt, dass ihr das Wohl ihrer Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt. Vielen Dank Maja und Vasili! 100% Weiterempfehlung! Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

The place and the people

Location! being really ON the pebbles beach and at 15 minutes walk to the village of Epidaurus. Excellent service by the friendly owners. Very clean. View in the apartments on the first floor is unsurpassable.

Wifi poor. Some view-pollution due to boats anchoring too close to the beach in our opinion. Apartments on the first floor have a tiny circled staircase that leads to the open plan bedroom. Not convenient for nightly visits to the downstairs bedroom.

Incredible place! Perfect for visits of the region. Maya is wonderful.

The most charming place with a soul and an incredible sense of peace! Staying here was the best our experience for a long time! Place was right choice “on a step” of the most places that Peloponnese can give ( Epidaurus, Mycenae, Nafplion, Argos, Corinth, Poros, Porto Heli, even the Athins). A peaceful beachfront nice place as base for exploring , MANTZARIS APPARTMENTS and the hospitality of their owners Vasilis and Maja for sure give us much more than we expected. Discreet and unobtrusive, Maja and Vasilis were available for us 24 h, answering to all demands we have, offering help in any way, suggesting the restaurants or the beaches were we could go even mr Vasilis online helped us to avoid the traffic jams. Mrs Maja is one really nice person who treat us with special attention and respect, always with a smile, in a way that makes us feel like a family friend. Even these apartments doesn’t have the breakfast included ( which we don’t like ever ) Maja helped to organize the delivery of breakfast or coffee from the best bakery in village or delivery of lunch / dinner from restaurant so we can get it sitting at table under the umbrella on the lawn seafront the beach with the candles light. It was amazing experience! Really nice designed full equipped and clean apartment ( much nicer than photos ) with excellent wi-fi, air conditioner, 24 h warm water and the nice and big terrace with incredible sea view ( anchored catamarans and the nice boats were the first our view in the silence of morning with only the sound of the waves and the most beautiful sound of the cicadas ). Mantzaris apartment have the best position in Ancient Epidavros ( with walk distance to the center of the village at the one side and famous Yialasi beach and the nice Egialos beach-front restaurant at the other side ).

Everything was just perfect! We really enjoy, swimming in a nice clear sea water with sea turtles and rounded pebbles and urchins at the bottom ( swimming shoes are sufficient against urchins) and the long shallow water of the sea, a few meters from famous sunken city ( sunken ancient state of Epidaurus also known as Argolida’s Lost Atlantis which is just 1.5 m under the surface of the sea ) where snorkeling in the mornings ( before excursion boats from Athens arrived ) was magnificient! Private parking with easy access , nice organized in a big shadow of trees , the car was not at the sunny place and it was 100% save which was the best!
