Seefeld ALPIN Apartments

The location was awesome — you can pretty much fall off the train and be in the suite (although there’s no noise from the train station — it’s about two blocks away.) Inga drove up from Innsbruck to hand over the keys and give us details about the suite, despite an unexpected late summer snow storm. She was friendly and so helpful. The suite was spotless (really NOT kidding. It was spotless.) The kitchen was extremely well provisioned, offering everything required to cook great meals, while the beds were super comfortable and duvets were thick and cozy. Hot water?? Oodles. Towels? From face cloth to bath towel and several sizes in between. A really great choice — plus just steps from two grocery stores and a fabulous brewery. Could it get any better?

Well, there was no heat but who knew we’d have snow up to our knees on the trail about half a kilometer from the suite. It was not even mid-September when the snow was flying and the week earlier it had been 30C!! Inga warned us the heat might be unwilling to play nice given the strange weather system. It made the incredibly cozy beds even more pleasant! (And I have no doubt the heat issue is sorted now,)

Lovely apartment, excellent location in the centre of Seefeld and only 5 minutes walk to the station. Apartment very clean with everything you need. Inga is a great host, very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

The beds in Austria are very different from Australia. They are smaller and use continental pillows and single doonas. But hey, when in Rome...

the location and the facilities

Cosy apartment in a great location. Opposite supermarkets and close to village square. Not large but very homely. There are 2 apartments - the other is larger with a couch for a little extra. Well equipped with washing machine, oven and full range of kitchen utensils. Good wi-fi and super comfortable bed. Terrace which receives afternoon sun. Inga is a great hostess - will greet you at apartment with keys.
