121 Studio - Apartment with Kitchen, Terrace, Stansted Airport Shuttle

Cleanliness could be a bit better

Booked because it was only 15 min from Stansted and we had an early morning flight. Decided to stay here rather than a hotel for the same price (or even a bit less) because it had a kitchenette, and 2 beds. TV with a few streaming channels.

Read the reviews saying it was dirty, and thought it can't be that bad... but it is. The place is dirty and poorly maintained. The worst thing for us was that the bedding - especially the sofa bed - absolutely STINKS of dogs. Really nasty experience, like literally sleeping in an old dog's bed. Maybe acceptable if you live in a house with smelly dogs normally and are nose blind, but if not, then I don't recommend it. Stains on the duvet covers and sheets. Must be joking if you think 4 people could stay in the room, it was barely enough space for two. Plus there is one place to sit and eat, a fold out table, which is broken, so it doesn't stay up. Mouldy bathroom. Had to wash all the dishes/ cutlery before using them. Just glad we only had to endure 12 hours of it, but a poor start to our holiday for sure. Please just stay in an airport hotel and eat out.

I was a quiet neighborhood. Great for a couple of nights.

It describes as free shuttle service to stansted airport, but there is no any shuttle service. Host can arrange paid airport drop off.

Good proximity for walking into Bishop’s Stortford Andrew the host was very responsive and helpful.

There were so aspects that needed cleaning, cob webs on ceiling and around furniture

A lovely nights stay at this studio apartment with a large bathroom, useful kitchen & seating area. There is also a small terrace for sitting when the weather is good. I didnt meet the owner but he was very quick to respond to questions about the booking

The only downside is the distance from the train station. I walked but if you dont have a car it might be better to taxi. I arrived after dark and it was drizzling & cold. The 20 minute slightly uphill walk seemed longer. It was difficult to see the entrance in the dark

Clean. Close enough to walk to city centre. Prompt responses from owner.

A little bit tired. Could do with an update. Shower was not very powerful and boiling hot.

The bed was comfy
