Rock's Beach Spot A

The location is very good, right on the water. The host is also friendly and helpful. The room was clean as well.

My room was small with a small window that opened to a trailer park. No view and very noisy on weekends when the lot is full. I was backpacking and travelling light. Considering you're sort of in the middle of nowhere with no shops within walking diatance, the room misses some crucial amenities e.g. Spoons, shampoo, shower gel, bottle opener etc. Basically if you are out all day and just looking for a place to crash, it works. Otherwise it's basic with basic amenities which makes it too pricy for what you get.

Could use a kettle

I liked the people who welcomed us, the room was very clean and quiet, the room has a refrigerator and microwave, a balcony facing the beach, a very clean beach, many restaurants on the beach, when I return I intend to stay there again, the Thiago very attentive, a gentleman who owns a bar on the first floor, very helpful and friendly.

some restaurants did not accept cards, I had to wait in a long line to buy breakfast, and they only accepted cash or a Portuguese card, I didn't have either one, and there's also no cash machine nearby.

The location

The Host received us very well and showed us around. Everything was cleaned. Best location possible in front of the Beach with entertainment around. A really cozy and beautiful place, i'm sure we will be back !

So close to the beach! Excellent roof terrace for drying swimwear or clothes if you are having a long stay. There is a microwave and kettle, and little fridge so you can save a bit of money instead of eating out every meal! Really near the local bus stop, but you can always get an Uber within a few minutes. Lots of wardrobe space which is great for a smaller apartment, many bars and restaurants nearby, and right downstairs! Very clean, and really functional for short or long stays!

It is up some steps, this is the only negative and it barely affected us, but something to be aware of for mobility impaired people.
