Quiet place. Close to the lake. Diana was lovely

Very spacious, very well maintained, beautiful hand painted traditional furniture. Big balcony. Well stocked kitchen with stove and oven. Great location, near the wood with walking distance to the lake.

No microwave. Not a problem. Just to be aware.

The location and the hosts were wonderful

That it was in the basement, was too cold in the room, no dishwasher. The Futon bed wasn't so comfortable. The other bed was very comfortable.

The room was spacious, with an external bathroom. The internet was fine once she told us the correct log in details. The underfloor heating would be good in winter, but she refused to turn it off.

She charged us 17 Euros for what she called a local government tax. This was half the original figure she wanted. She also forced on us a local travel card for 20 Euros. We didn't want it and didn't need it.

I gave 1-month advanced notice of staying 2 days instead of 4. This was accepted in correspondence with the owner and the owner still tried to charge $60E for this (on top of the advertised $80E cleaning fee that you would not pay if you stayed in the hotels near by). After negotiation the owner waived the $60E but who needs that extra effort when traveling?

We really enjoyed our stay here. The host is super nice, it was very easy to communicate with her. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from the main attractions in Titisee. The place is super comfortable, it has everything that we need and a very large apartment. Definitely, when we come back we will stay here in this lovely place.
