Property (back-to-back townhouse) is nicely renovated, with a new kitchen and windows fitted etc, and nicely furnished and decorated. It 's very spacious. Although right in middle of the old town, the spot is very quiet as far as people and cars are concerned.

Despite of the work done on the house, there’s a lot of unfinished business: shower curtain was a mockery and the bathroom (on ground floor) lacks a decent curtain, stair railings / balusters felt flimsy, etc. When issues about the TV and parking spot arose owner (Ilona) wasn’t very helpful, if we managed to get in touch with her at all, that is. Roughly half of our calls / texts went unanswered. We never actually met her. As far as cleanliness is concerned: lots of dust, cutlery needed double checking before using, etc. We found used towels of the previous guests still hanging in the bathroom. Gross. We found out Tiengen is in the flight path of one or more airports. So during the day there are planes coming over roughly every 5 minutes.
