Up27 Suites Plitvice

We really liked that we could walk to entrance 2 in 15 minutes or less. Also, we could park easily outside. And the apartment was spacious and very well equipped... dishwasher, washing machine, and so many utensils in the kitchen. We appreciated that there were dishwasher tablets and detergent for the washing machine. Lots of towels, comfortable bed and air conditioning in each room. Amazing.

Cleanest apartment we stayed in Croatia! Easy and beautiful walk to the entrance 2 (although a bit tough to walk back). I had a problem using washing machine, but the owner helped out well. Perfect place to stay when visiting Pritvitce.

Nothing really, but a peeler and hanging rack would help if you’re staying for few days.

Connect to Plitvice National Park by a paved walking trail, meaning you don’t have to spend extra money for expensive parking in the park region.

Nothing for the apartment. (Just to notice : the grocery store in the village does not follow its opening hours. It will close at anytime. So don’t rely on it. Buy your food on the way you come.)

Detailed instructions to get to the apartment were provided by our host Boba. Parking was available on the street at the front entrance to the building. As was stated on the site, the building does not look great from the outside but inside was spotlessly clean and had been tastefully renovated as shown in the photos on the booking.com site. The apartment location was perfect for exploring the Plitvice lakes and we lucked out by being there during a Marathon as the parking lots were closed until 11am. Because of this an early start of 7am found us almost alone for the first 4 hours. There is a path just down from the apartment on the bend at the left side of the street leads to entrance 2. From there we took the short ferry to the upper lakes which circled back to the ferry dock and to another ferry that took us to the other side (one way only so we took the park bus back to where we started). You can also option to walk the trail there along either side of the lake. The trails are well marked and a map is available at the entrance. We walked 10.5 miles comfortably in 6 hours but one could spend days exploring the area and this apartment was the perfect ‘home’ base. There is a small grocery store just around the corner with friendly staff.

Everything was perfect

Easy self check-in. We were notified when the apartment was ready before official check-in time. Kitchen very well equipped, apartment pretty and clean. The fridge unfortunately didn't work when we arrived, which was dealt with promptly and efficiently while we were at the park, no inconvenience to us at all. Very impressive. Entrance 2 is only a short downhill walk through the forest away and there's a small supermarket just around the corner. Perfect place to stay.

Very nicely renovated apartment. Great location in very quiet village. Walking access to Plitvice entrance 2 along lovely forest trail. Also easy walking to mini market and Pizzeria. Two night stay allowed access to Plitvice in early morning and late afternoon with a rest at the apartment during the peak period in Plitvice.
