Captain Georgio Apartments

We had the most beautiful vacation staying at Captain Georgio Apt., the whole trip felt like heaven! I can honestly say I have never stayed at a place that was so clean and felt so welcoming. The room was cleaned every day, luminous, with a beautiful balcony facing the mountains, mosquito net, ac, kitchinette and was quite spacious. Many thank you's from us to Lefteris who helped us with anything we needed, from recommendations on places to visit, to lending us a sun umbrella and for his super positive attitude every day. Also thank you for and really recommend the local wine made by mr Lefteris's father, which we're sorry we couldn't take more with us! The apartment is really close to the beach and a lot of supermarkets and bakery, fruit shop etc, and Poros was the loveliest town to stay in, we already felt like we made a lot of friends there, even though we moved around the whole island. Already recommended to friends that will visit Kefalonia!

La struttura è nuova, bella ed accogliente, curata personalmente dal gentilissimo proprietario Sig.Lefteris che parla un buon Italiano. L'ambiente è molto pulito ed efficiente, completo di tutto ciò che necessita per trascorrere una soddisfacente vacanza. Poros è una piccola cittadina sul bel mare di Cefalonia; ci sono una vasta scelta di taverne dove mangiare un buon pesce fresco. Cosa desiderare di + !

The hotel Captain Geprgio exceeded all our expectations. The hotel is located in the central part of Poros, on a quiet street. All the shops are nearby: a bakery, a butcher's shop,fruit and vegetable store, supermarkets, and a pharmacy.The road to the beach is 3-5 minutes. There are many advantages to a holiday in Poros: convenient ferry service to the mainland, excellent bus routes from Poros throughout the island of Kefalonia, a gorgeous azure clear sea (at the beginning of June the water temperature is +23C),a lot of interesting sea cruises (Ithaca, Lefkada, Zakynthos, etc.).Good clean mountain air and water.Accommodation details: the room is very spacious, with a well-equipped kitchenette, a terrace with a beautiful view of the mountains,comfortable orthopedic mattresses, thorough cleaning every day, and bed linen changed every 3 days.I would like to especially note the hospitality of the owner Lefteris and his care for the guests!! He takes care of the details, arranges your daily life, and helps you navigate your travels. After such a warm welcome from Lefteris, we were left with wonderful souvenirs from our holiday and a desire to return!!

It was exceptionally clean /50 m from beach / had all mod cons .. great shower/ washing machine/ powerful hairdryer super helpful friendly staff

I cannot fault this property it is traditional and family run Captain Georgio even left wine and water in the fridge !!

The owner was very accommodating to us, helpful, always met our requests or recommended where the best places for swimming in the city or recommended places worth seeing. He proactively inquired if everything was alright throughout our entire stay.

We were satisfied, at the moment nothing comes to my mind.
