Captain Georgio Apartments

Proprietario molto gentile e caloroso, appartamento composto da due vani molto bene assortiti, probabilmente per 4 persone, mancava solo qualche altro mobiletto dove mettere i vestiti. Due bei balconcini a corollario dell'appartamento.

Stanza spaziosa e pulita, con due terrazzi e tanta luce. Posizione comoda e personale gentilissimo

Das familiengeführte Hotel übertraf meine Erwartungen. Zwar bin ich auf Grund einer Empfehlung hin, war aber dennoch positiv überrascht. In jedem Zimmer eine topp Klimaanlage, im Badezimmer sogar eine Waschmaschine! Und Terry, der Sohn des Hauses, war immer sehr hilfsbereit und zu einem netten Plausch aufgelegt. Alles sehr sympathisch. Ich werde definitiv wieder in genau dieses Hotel kommen. Es liegt genau in Laufabstand zu allen meinen Lieblingsorten in Poros. Vielen Dank und liebe Grüße aus Bayern!

If we come back to Kefalonia, we definitely would stay again at the Captain Georgio Apartments. To say that we had a wonderful stay would not describe a fraction of our amazing experiences at the Captain Georgio Apartments. Highly recommend! We got upgrated to the one-bedroom apartment! For the last two days of our stay we relocated to the studio that was originally booked. The entire place was a spotless clean and well maintained. The units were cleaned daily and the linens changed every three days. A well equipped kitchenette and a mini fridge are the great bonuses for the long and short stay guests. (You can make a breakfast, tea or coffee and enjoy the slow mornings on the spacious balcony like we did. ) The apartment is conviniently located in the center of Poros, just a few steps from the great beaches, restaurants, taverns, supermarkets, pharmacy, bakery, etc. We rented the car from Captain Georgio and we're pleased with the competitive price and car itself. (You can park your car either at the apartment's parking lot (tiny one) or along the nearest streets like other people (locals and tourists). But there is something else, very special, about our stay. This is the Greek hospitality. The entire family opened their hearts to us and we felt honored and deeply touched by their warmth. We were almost daily gifted with the fresh fruits from their home garden, the Captain Georgio wife cooked for us the most delicious briami (baked veggies), and of course, the special daily care proved by Lefteris and his staff. We really felt like the part of their family, and not like the regular hotel guests. What presious moments!

Great location and warm hosts. We booked last minute, and they were so kind and helpful. We loved being so close to the beach and great restaurants. And, we had 3 children and several pieces of luggage, so they gave us a ride to the port the day we left. Grateful!

The beds were on the hard side.
