Harvey Apartments

Was emailed the incorrect code for the gate and was locked out after going to get food.. Walls are paper thin and needs door stops on every door.

Location is nice as it is very central, the apartment is small, which is nice and has most of the essentials: cooker, sink microwave and a washing machine. No tumble dryer fyi. There are a number of pubs shops and tourist points of interest just round the corner from the apartment so it is very accessible in terms of that. Parking is perfectly fine after 6pm, as it is a busy side of town so during the day you will not find parking anywhere close, other than a few streets away, I'd recommend getting the car parked the evening prior as during the day you won't have to move it provided you dont need it.( No traffic wardens) They have a smart T in the living rooV, which is very nice to have during the evenings with access to Netflix, prime and I believe you can cast your phone on them too, plus a TV in the bedroom as well with the same features Bed is comfortable, smallish, but still comfortable and they do keep the place at a high standard in terms of cleaning.

Few things just. In building 4 apartment 2 Cooker light doesn't appear to work, the radiator in the bathroom must have a fuse blown in the fuse spare beside it, so it won't heat, the radiator in the living room would randomly turn itself off after 5 minutes, would be a killer in winter. I did notice the code for the front door (Building 4) had a zero in it (changes frequently), the button appears to be faulty, so if the code has that number in it in future I'd recommend button bashing softly until it recognizes it, there is a timer so if it doesn't read on time it will reset and your back at square 1. There is a small padlock outside the door, where they must have kept the door keys prior to having coded doors. Keep an eye on this as it was day 3 I had seen the code for my room door was on the key lock code, several people where in the other apartments coming in and out, so if anyone was paying attention they would have had access to the room. Staff: just a small bone to pick, I had notified the host or owner through the app a few days prior about the possibility of getting a later check out time, gave the time and it was agreed by both myself and the host. My girlfriend had a few meetings in the morning and through til the evening time on team calls. The cleaner or host, not sure, had stated we had to be out by 1pm by the latest, we had agreed 4pm a few days prior to which I sent the screenshot to her (girlfriend) about the agreed time and told her to show it to the host or cleaner. The cleaner or host had stated to my girlfriend that we had talked after about changing it to 1pm, we never had talked after. I fully accept it is a business and yes it has to get people in and out through the door to make money. I did message after we agreed 4pm to notify me at anytime if they had wanted me out earlier by message so I could plan around it.

The apartment wasn't cleaned on arrival, but after a phone call it was sorted out. The bed was too small and too soft.
