Christine was a warm and welcoming host. The location was wonderful. The grounds were spacious and It was very peaceful. it was lovely to be able to walk round. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you might need.

There was no wifi on the premises and no mobile reception. This meant it was difficult to contact family and to search for things to do in the area.

liked the hosts, kitchen well equipped, shower good and bedding and toewls clean and fresh.

Track to Manor very unmanaged with holes so not good for car. setee uncomfy no guts, fan above bed and extractor fan didnt work. Mattress felt lumpy and mattress edge collapsing. Step to get in and out of shower quite high 12inches. units delaminating, probably due to extractor fan not working

Location was great, we had breakfast out as recommended by the host 5 minutes away & was excellent .

We really have no complaints. The accommodation is not part of the manor house but a separate line of new build rooms overlooking the garden at the rear of the house .Small but well equipped & very comfortable room. If anything the sofa seems broken so you slide into the middle when two are sharing. Apart from that all amenities are provided with extra touches of fresh milk & treats. Quiet & peaceful .Perhaps some extra plant screening between the rooms would be a good addition.Christine was an attentive and helpful host.

Lovely peaceful location, although this was part of the host’s home, we felt very private. The grounds were lovely, we didn’t really explore much as we had a packed schedule but would definitely return! Having staying in 9 different places through Booking.Com in the last two months I am happy to say this place had one of the most comfortable mattresses!

Not so much a ‘didn’t like’ but a caution. The track/private road approaching the accommodation is weather worn and uneven, so caution is needed when driving along it.
