Bright Studio by the sea

The absolutely wonderful view from the balcony. The apartment is in a large complex, but you could barely see and not hear the neighbours. The apartment has been very thoughtfully furnished with basic necessities (pepper, cooking oil, clothes washing liquid for the washing machine etc.) and lots of useful maps and tourist information. The bed was incredibly comfortable and everything was very clean. The apartment is not in Icod but San Marcos (a bonus). There was ample parking at the front of the complex (in January, mid-week) with more nearby. It's also on a bus route into Icod.

Wonderful host who gave us a lot of recommendations for sightseeing, always at hand when we needed him :) The apartment was very comfortable, clean and equipped with all you could need. The view from the balcony was amazing, if you're looking for a quiet place when you're traveling with a partner or a friend - the best place to stay. If you're an active person, this is a fantastic base for nearby hike routes!

Nothing to dislike

Everything was fine, about location: north oriented, almost no sunshine, only afternoon (february) a little bit. Otherwise everything was superb.

The studio is amazing! A real gem with a great view of the coast. Every morning we got up and ate breakfast looking over the ocean. When we first saw the photos we weren't sure if the bed was a full sized one due to the wide angle photos making it look rather narrow but it's a large king sized bed, it's just that the room is so big the bed looked small! There was a well equipped kitchen and they even provided us a bottle of wine when we checked in. Wifi was fast, bed was comfy, there's nothing I'd do to make the place any nicer 10/10.

Nothing. The place exceeded all expectations. The only thing to note is that the property is located in an area where it would be best to have a car, there's a bus into Icod but only a few restaurants and stores in San Marcos village itself.
