Love Sea Apartment

Location is close to the sea, near lots of nice restaurant/bars too. The host was lovely and provided a free lift to the airport.

It’s got plenty of room & the best host ever! Such a fabulous beachfront location with a host of amenities within a minute’s walk. The apartment even has parking facilities if you have a vehicle. Cannot speak highly enough of the unit & the beautiful owner. Would definitely stay again!

The host Fernanda is fantastic: super friendly and helpful, the apartment was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. Location is great, right near the beach and close to many restaurants. One can hear the waves in the ocean. Also near (say, 150m) a nice grocery store (Continente) with an ATM inside (attention: max withdrawal 200 EUR). The apartment has underground parking. The host stocks the apartment well: plenty of towels, and lots of toilet paper (6 rolls in our case, whereas many other places supply only one). Kitchen has toaster, kettle and capsule coffee machine.

Minor issues: kitchen sink built-in plug did not work, shower head was loose.

The place exceeded our expectations and it felt much more like home than an average apartment or hotel room. The owner is a very friendly lady who was quite flexible in terms of giving the keys to us.

I wish I could write at least one thing here to have a balanced review but I simply can not. The property is worth every penny.

It was a lovely stay at this apartment. For a couple it was just perfect size. There was a sofabed for both of us to watch tv comfortably. The garage was an unexpected plus even though there was plenty spaces on the street still it feels reassuring the rented car was safe. Supermarket is close by and all sorts of restaurants too including Mcdonalds. We even found a local pub where beer cost 2.50 EUR. The check out by 12 is very convenient and check-in is not Restricted to any hour.

Even though i put 10 points there are few things i need to point out that require improvement and considering the rental is not cheap i would expect basic things are must like a quality toilet paper not a one that leaves bits of paper, towels were very hard on touch, dryer would be a solution to have soft towels everytime. Damaged electrical curtains could be replaced by hanging curtains and net curtains, it would give the apartment homely feeling. I was a host myself of four Apartments including one 136m2 so i can imagine how some guests are irresponsible. Also the kitchen could be equipped with better variaty of Kitchen Utensils other than that it was a perfect stay. However i cannot imagine how hot it must be there in summer having no airconditioning. Aparently it is prohibited to fit it there.

The owner was superb, very welcoming and even dropped us off at the airport!
