È stato tutto perfetto, la signora Barbara gentilissima e molto disponibile nelle nostre richieste. Alloggio molto accogliente, curato nei particolari ma soprattutto pulitissimo. Posto incantevole e rilassante...non oso immaginare in estate!

Barbara is a very nice host and helpful. We could reach her easily and received fast responses. The place is very clean and friendly, we felt like at home. There was everything we needed in the kitchen as well; even oil and vinegar, honey and housemade spices (very tasty by the way). There was also a full bascet of breakfast meal; crunchy bread, nutella and jam. And the jacuzzi was the crown on the top. The place it self is about ~50 minutes from Pisa or Florence; it is easy to get in both directions; the autostrada is also close by.

The only challenge was for me -as I don’t like narrow roads at all- to get up to the hill to the apartment. It is easy to find and it is also close, but in rain and darkness it was giving some additional adrenalin to me. Especially when someone came in front. While we were there, there were storms in the nights after 2 following days and rain each day; leaves started to fall from trees, it was sometimes really slippery even by car on the road. At Barbara’s it was already safe and it is absolutely worth of it to get there as the view is really beautiful. (Something for something = discomfort in driving-, but comfort up there)

Barbara's place was beautiful and just as described online. She was such a gracious host, quick to answer any questions we had and happy to help us when needed. There was a delicious fresh-baked cake waiting for us upon arrival which was so sweet of her. The apartment was equipped with anything we needed including coffee, honey, olive oil, Melba toasts, jam etc. Each morning we were treated to a short visit from her adorable dog Mimi. (If you're not a dog lover she will not come around or be a nuisance at all! ) We didn't have a car so getting around involved a slightly challenging (only because I'm not used to the hills) 10-15 min walk up into the charming village and then taking the funicolare down to the town below if needed. The little village of Montecatini Alto is wonderful, lots to explore and see and several cafés/restaurants to eat at. The town below is also charming with great shopping and restaurants for dining. This area is a great spot to base yourself out of if you want to explore nearby towns less than an hour away by train (there are 2 train stations) or if you simply want to chill with a glass of wine while you take in the beautiful views of the Tuscan hills and countryside. I would recommend Barbara's place without hesitation if you're considering booking. Thank you for such a wonderful stay Barbara!

Everything - hosts are so kind and friendly, yard is full of olives trees with spa (small pool) for relaxing. View is perfect. Appartment is so clean and nice and the most important thing is Mimi (dog) who did not miss a day to visit us :)

Traumhafte ruhige Lage inmitten von Olivenhainen etwas unterhalb von Monetcatini Alto. Sehr schöner Blick von der Terasse auf die Hügellandschaft. Die Anlage hat nur 3 Wohnungen, wodurch es angenehmn ruhig ist. Alles ist gepflegt und sauber - drinnen wie draußen. Sympathische und sehr freundliche Gastegeberfamilie mit Hund und Katze.
