Cozy house and location at the edge of the village, nive hosts and good breakfast.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Durungara Jovic in Bistrica, Petrovac na Mlavi, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality by the friendly staff. The location of Durungara Jovic is truly remarkable, nestled amidst the serene beauty of nature with breathtaking views of the Gornjak chine and the majestic Homolje mountains. Its proximity to monasteries like Gornjak and Vitovnica adds a spiritual dimension to the stay, making it perfect for those seeking both relaxation and cultural exploration. The cleanliness of the facilities was impeccable, reflecting a commitment to hygiene and comfort. As for the food, I was absolutely thrilled with the delicious meals served at Durungara Jovic. Each dish was expertly prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, showcasing the rich flavors of the region. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a spiritual seeker, or simply looking for a peaceful retreat, Durungara Jovic offers something for everyone. I highly recommend this hidden gem for its exceptional hospitality, stunning surroundings, and delectable cuisine. My only regret is not staying longer!

We had breakfast and dinner while we stayed at the Durungara Jovic. The portions are large and the food itself is great.

1. The images of the property are not accurate at all, they represent a house next door which we thought we were looking for, but instead, we were in an old cottage house that was poorly renovated and half run-down. From the images, you would say that the house is somewhere in nature, but actually, it is in a street (across the owner's house) which isn't shown on any pictures, so you don't have a feeling like you're on a remote house. 2. When we arrived, the room was not warm enough since it had AC turned on (the fireplace was not ignited) and we had to wait for the host to provide wood so we could warm up the place. 3. We didn't even meet the host himself and he didn't greet us at all, we had to call each time to get beverage and we didn't get seconds when we asked for. 4. In the description it says there is a fridge, we didn't have any. 5. The reservation price was 11,106din (approx. 95eur for 2 nights), but we were charged 150eurs I believe there are more accurate, more friendly and definitely more cozy/warmer accommodations for the price of 75eur per night.

Great breakfast and meal. Vlada and his family do everything for us to feel comfortable. place is very good, near there is pool with mineral water. recommend strong . Hvala

kids are little bored except pool there no many attractions

Everything was perfect. My recommends to all travelers who like rural enviroment. Clean cabin, food was delicious with proper prices. When we needed something, they provided us as soon as possible. Great family, literally we had a feeling that we are part of the family ☺️
