North Star Flats @Santa Marinha

The view from this apartment is extraordinary. Many go up to the park to watch the sunset but this apartment provides a private viewing point second to none. in addition this is a very comfortable and well equiped apartment. It is air conditioned, has wonderful wifi and a very function kitchen. the bedrooms are all comfortable.

You do need to climb stairs to get to the apartment which is only an issue if you have luggage. We were assisted by the apartment manager

Our party of 5 adults enjoyed our stay at North Star Flats. We had ample space to sit around and have a quick bite, watch TV or chat. Bedrooms were spacious and the apartment was very clean. You have to walk up three flights as there is no elevator available, but the view more than makes up for the stairs. We found this a wonderful place to stay close to the wineries and easy access to cross the bridge over to the Porto side. Parking was located about a block away. Our host was even kind enough to help bring up our luggage.

A bit better communication on parking, but otherwise absolutely NO complaints.

The view, the view, the view!! Clean nice and modern apartment, comfortable beds .parking space in a garage.

The water heater was too small for 4 adults we had to turn the water off in-between sudzing up and it took all day to reheat. It would be nice to have 2 more comfortable chairs in the living room, it has a love seat and some foam squares. There are 3 floors of stairs to the apartment but the view was worth it.

Nice view from the balcony. Nice hosts. Easy check-in and check-out processes.

No breakfast is served . Fruit welcome basket is generous & proofs excellent host

Some technical deficiencies in the rooms w. windows one bathroom need attention w. shower.
