"The best property I've ever stayed in"

10.0

The cottage was exceptionally clean and only a 15 minute walk to the beach , every room was of a high standard and beautifully laid out out , tea and coffee was available free of charge , everything you could need for cooking was there, it also had a little box with things you may forget to bring , shampoo/ conditioner/ toothpaste etc.. I Would highly recommend staying in this property if you needed a place close to the grand pier / shops / restaurants, its in a prime location , Will definitely be booking again next year

"Excellent accommodation. We really enjoyed ourselves in a very beautiful home."

10.0

Excellent couple of days away in this cottage. Absolutely beautiful home. The location and the facilities were very good. Plenty of space for 4 people. The photos don’t do it justice. We arrived early and were kindly allowed to move straight in. Much appreciated.

The sign for Weston Hill Cottage was missing so the cottage was a bit hard to find. It’s number 43. A nice surprise was the pretty garden coming off the living room but the garden furniture was dirty. There was also a big dark mark on the carpet at the top of the stairs.

House could do with a Hill Cottage sign, to make it more easily identified

"A very windy short break to show my baby granddaughter the sea. She wasn’t impressed, but that was due to the weather. W"

Absolutely beautiful! I’d love to buy it. Wonderfully decorated and furnished. My father always said that the living areas should be upstairs and sleeping downstairs, as is the case with Hill Cottage. Highly recommend.

Nothing. My daughter and I loved it.

"Great place to stay"

9.0

The Hill Cottage itself was a gorgeous old building which had a great architect doing the modernization. On the ground floor where you entered the cottage, the two bedrooms (twin and king size beds) were located. There were additionally 2 bathrooms and a service room with the washing machine. Using the stairs you get to an open space of kitchen, dining area and living room that opens up to a garden with several seating areas. The kitchen has everything you need except a tea pot - very unexpected in England. You could park on the ground, which is important in an area with a parking space shortage. It is just 5-10 min walk to the city with lots of restaurants. We strongly suggest adding more pictures also with a greater angle to better advertise for this spacious place.

In the cottage only little suggestions: - a tea pot - better bed covers with less plastic so the covers better ventilate at night during sleep - a real drying rack for the garden The city itself has seen a decline in the last years which is becoming visible with shop closures and Penny shops. What we didn't consider / research before booking was that the enormous beach is unfortunately caused by the second biggest tide in the world, so water is mostly gone and the retreating water leaves rather mud than sand - good for walking. Swimming can be done in the morning. The marine pool is very small and the water in it is often very dirty
