Spectacular site, just totally awesome. 20 feet from the cliffs above the ocean-- you can sit on the little outdoor patio with a cup of tea or glass if wine and have an incredible view. Right on Fisherman's Trail as you enter town, just a few blocks from main restaurant area. The apartment has a kitchen furnished with pots pans, stove fridge etc if you wish to cook. Rustic & charming inside.

Shower head only handheld & didn't drain well-- when hiking all day it does make a difference. Not great for older people less agile- unusual staircase to sleeping loft w 1/2 stair on each step-- aesthetic But not completely easy if getting up in the night. No heating element so best in warmer weather.

The house is beautiful, a great spot, on the cliffs.

We had misunserstanding with the hosts who do not speak foreign languages and perhaps don't use the translation option given by booking.com: ...we asked two times if we could check in earlier because of the very bad wheather. There was no clear NO, we thougt to have read a YES when they sent us the keybox number. When we arrived four hours before check-in-time (I admit that that is early), the owners were angry and did not clean well (hair in the changed bed, the floor not cleaned, but fresh towels). Perhaps because we waited outside, perhaps to "punish" us? Give it a chance, I'm sure they want to recieve well, but don't come before 4 p.m. if you don't want to make the same experience for 70 euros.

Beautiful, cozy beach house directly next to the water. Its a phantastic place to calm down and take some time off:)

The house is in an amazing location, right on the cliff in the beautiful town of Zambujeira do Mar. It is also a very charming place, with amazing sea views and the sound of the sea. The owner, whom we've met briefly when we arrived and before leaving, is a very kind and nice lady.

The house would need more deep cleaning. Ideally some refurbishment would make it easier to keep the place clean but if not, at least the place should be cleaned a lot more thoroughly on a regular basis.

Location was excellent

Dirty shower .Block drain .No shower head holder.Toilet continuesly flushing despite informing owner . Burnt out electrical socket in bathroom .Fire Hazard ! . Broken dining chair . Poor wifi . Bed need head board ,to stop pillows falling over balcony to lounge ! Very dusty under bed . Badly cracked mug and tray needed . Only one wine glass . No outside light not working .

The view and location of the property were really good.

The property is a bit old, and outdated, especially the toilet. The bedroom is not easy to get to. I was expecting to relax with the sound of the ocean and all we got was the noise of crickets all night, until the sun rose.

The host provided so many charming items like candles and flowers. When you leave the apartment, you are amazed by the magnificent view. Furthermore, the apartment offers all the necessary equipment like a big fridge, a cooker, pans, a nice bed, and so on to make yourself comfortable.
