Minoica Beach Apartments

The hosts were so wonderful and welcoming. The location is incredible, just a few steps away from the beach. The view of our room was gorgeous, I wish we could have stayed even longer. It’s a perfect place to relax but still close to restaurants, which we walked to, as well as only 10 min drive from Heraklion.

There is no elevator so be prepared to carry luggage.

The sea was only a few steps away with direct access so we could just wake up by a nice dive in the sea. The hosts and he hospitality were top and they helped us through everything

There is no bar or breakfast, but right next there is one of the best beach bars in the area with excellent service

We had a wonderful week at this family-friendly place! Stunning views, plus easy access to shops and restaurants. Perfect for families and groups of friends alike. A special thank you to our hosts, Efi and Zaharia, for their warmth and kindness. We can't wait to return next year!

We were steps from the beach! Close to the main city of Heraklion and within walking distance to shops, restaurants and nightlife. We loved the hosts who were happy to help in any way they were able to.

Very nice place, very nice location, just near to the sea. On the photo the view from our balcony

The place is perfect! Through the garden you get directly to the sandy beach. The bathroom was spacious enough by local standards.

The apartman is really nice, very close to the beach, and its very well connected with the highway, so you can travel anywhere easily, also there is big parking lot, so that is not an issue. In kitchen you have everything you need, and beds are very comfortable. In general everything is clear and cozy, and it was nice staying at this place.

Probably after the previous it is shocking why the review is only 6/10, it is only because the unpleasant situation that host made for us. At the arrival we were brought to the much bigger apartment than the one that we have booked. No one told us nothing about it so we left it as it is. At day 5 we were travelling to different beaches on the opposite side of the island, and spent the evening in Agios Nikolaos, so we came to the apartment around 23h, where (I suppose) host's wife waited us at the door. After a small talk about our whereabouts that day she just mentioned, along the way, between the lines, that we are changing our room in the morning. We immidately started complaining and trying to explain that it was some kind of mistake because no one told us anything, since she stated that we were told that upon our arrival. Also, we were required to leave our apartment at 11am and to enter the new one (we originally booked) in 2pm, so practiaclly it would completely ruined our day. We made a compromise that they would move our things, and we only need to pack (IN 23H ON DAY 5 AFTER A WHOLE DAY OF TRAVELLING). All the way her attitude was something else, she was constantly behaving like it is a normal thing and that they are right and we are wrong and we need to move, since the new guest will come tomorrow and we were told about the change, even though we were trying to explain that we heard that from her first time now. Anyhow in the morning when we bumped at her she told us "oh yes, I checked, he forgot to tell you when you arrived" in other words she thought that we were lying, also she said "WE DO THIS ALL THE TIME WITH OUR GUESTS SO IT IS A NORMAL THING". To not make this any longer, be aware that they could just came to you at the half of your holiday, and told you that you need to move.
