Minoica Beach Apartments

From the location you can hear the waves of the sea, very close to restaurants, shops, 15 minutes away from Heraklion, very kind staff and you can ask anything at any time... I recommend it to anyone

Great location. Super friendly, warm, and helpful owners. We got a warm welcome from the family. So nice and sweet of them. Gave us freshly harvested melon from the farm on our entire stay. Always keeping our room clean and tidy. Very comfortable and fantastic sea view rooms. Highly recommend🥰 Michalis & Pricilla

Very close to the beach, amazing garden, nice view, very clean and cosy rooms, each day cleaning. Very polite and nice communication from the owners, all questions were answered and solved. Very nice vibe of the place, feels like home 💗

It was close to the beach. Close to the bus stop and shops.

The mattress was too soft, difficult for me to move myself from side to side.

It was my first visit to Crete and I had a wonderful 3 days holiday at Minoica Beach Apt, it is the perfect place if you want to relax, but also to explore. The property is located right on the beach and it offers sunbeds. Or you can sit at the beach-bar nearby, is called Heaven, expressing very well the sensation of beeing in heaven 🙂: a variety of drinks, delicious and generous plates, great serving, golden sand, relaxing ambient. The rooms at Minoica are spacious, quiet, clean, equiped with everything you need. I had the second-floor apt, with a sensational view, you can see the sea from every corner of the apt (even from the bathroom 🙂). The property is very accesible from the Heraklion airport (15 min by car), there is public transportation nearby, though I choose the shuttle that the property offers. Beeing located in the middle of the island it is easier to explore the local attractions (natural parks, caves, defiles, medieval towns and more). For me the time was to short to explore, but I will return soon 🙂. Amoudara town is a turistic place, you can find restaurants, bars, markets, rent a car, clinical assistance, shops and the property is 5 min walk of all this. Minoica is a location that I strongly recommend, I already scheduled my next visit 😁. But the most powerful atu of this property are the people, Emmanuela and her family, thank you very much for your hospitality, see you soon!

The apartment was very nice, with an amazing view over the beach and the sea. We loved to have breakfast in the morning on the balcony looking at the sea. It was pretty big and with all comforts. The staff was so lovely, (thanks again Emmanuela!) they welcomed us with a bottle of water and some fresh oranges from their fields. In the area there´s plenty of nice restaurants, from the fanciest ones to the typical Greek taverns, and it´s just 10mins drive from the more chaotic Heraklion. The property offer three free umbrellas and sunbeds right on the beach. The beach itself was not the best one in Crete but still nice when you don´t want to drive to Balos or Elafonissi and have a more relaxed day. In front of the property there´s a big parking. Overall a very pleasant experience.
