Villa Atlantica Apartments

The apartment is a nice size and in a central location.

Communication from the host before check in was nonexistent. We messaged about leaving our luggage at the apartment until check in which was agreed, however, when we arrived we were not able to access the property and when we called the host, he blamed miscommunication between him and his wife. This left us waiting in the rain for 15 minutes for him to arrive. The listing advertises the accommodation as having a 24-hour front desk, restaurant and a terrace with sea views. None of this is correct. It's a single apartment - how could there possibly be a front desk and reception? Odd. There is a small terrace to the back of the property, but this most definitely does not have sea views. The shower pressure is weak and there seems to be a lack of hot water in the apartment - it only ever seems to reach lukewarm temperatures. The kitchen isn't well equipped - there wasn't even a towel to dry dishes with. Finally, as other guests have mentioned, there were quite a few insects crawling around the kitchen. Would not recommend.
