Nothing everything was perfect

From start to finish Jim and Kathleen were very welcoming the kindest gestures were the offered us conplimentry finger food in there pub Jim met us on our walk and offered to give us a lift to our destination Kathleen had rang when we arrived and wished a very happy pleasant stay and ensured we stay warm and safe that kindness is what the world needs more of the value for money was second to none 😀 I recommend when booking your stay do it through galncys website personally Jim and Kathleen will support you and ensure you get what you are looking for 10 out 10 service and we have rebooked again the town is so clean safe and so welcoming 🙏

We had a fantastic stay in Carrick-on-Shannon! The accommodation was perfect – overlooking the beautiful River Shannon, with plenty of space for a group. The living area and kitchen were a great size, and the three big bedrooms could comfortably sleep up to 10 people. One room had its own en-suite, and there was also a separate shower room and toilet, which made things so convenient for a group. The house was full of mirrors, which was ideal for a group of girls getting ready, and it’s only about a 10-minute walk into the town centre – perfect location! Jim was a brilliant host – friendly, helpful, and full of great recommendations. He was also very flexible with check-in and check-out times, which we really appreciated. As a lovely final touch, he even lent us his phone charger cable for our drive home when we realised we’d lost ours. Would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Carrick-on-Shannon, and we’d definitely stay again!

Very handy, few minutes walk into town. All you need there....supermarket, ATM, off licence, taxi service, bar serving food.

The bed linen was brown! Clean but didn't like the colour!😁

The location is excellent! The owners, Jim and Kathleen, were very, very helpful . We were a large family group, and we received excellent service from the accommodation owners, Jim and Kathleen. Location, comfortable, and very friendly atmosphere. We love the place and definitely will be back, and we will definitely recommend it to our friends and families.
