"Lovely spot to enjoy the best of Zabugeira"

great location and views. perfect spot to watch the waves roll in as sun goes down. quiet in January. First good bed we’ve had in 2 weeks of Portugal. Gratis bottle of wine was a nice touch.

The location is great - beautiful views of the ocean right across the street, easy to walk to town (restaurants, shops, main town beach) or on the path along the cliff, which leads to stairs down to a great beach. The kitchen was well equipped. Apartment is spacious. Although we didn't use them, there were some beach umbrellas and games available, which is very thoughtful. Easy to park on the street across from the apartment.

The first time we tried to use the key to the front door it wouldn't turn. It was 10 p.m. and raining lightly and we were alarmed. I texted the host who told me to keep trying and she had the same problem with the key!!! Wow - if the problem is known, then maybe fix it? Luckily, another tenant on the ground floor heard us fumbling and kindly let us in. She also let us know there was a back door we could use, which we had not been told about - that key worked better. Also, there was not enough toilet paper left for us - only the role on the spindle, no extra. That seemed kind of lame. Would also have liked a set of sheets for the convertible couch/bed.
