Secondo piano senza ascensore con scalini alti e "faticosi". Parcheggio lontano e, soprattutto di sera e nel weekend, difficile trovare posto. Macchina da caffè presente, ma zero cialde (utili anche solo per sapere quali acquistare).

Great location in the centre of Bassano. Lovely host who met us at the property and explained things.

Location, flexibility and kindness of the host, flat itself was very spacious and comfortable

If we really have to find something, maybe the mattress could be improved (2 single beds combined). But still it was good

Da Irene is a nice, comfy one bed apartment a 10 minute walk from the train station. It is right opposite the Poli grappa museum/shop, close to bars and the Vecchio bridge is only yards away. The piazza's of Bassano del Grappa are again, only a minute or two away. Inside is comfy, with a nice livingroom, small kitchen bathroom and one bedroom. All very well appointed with all the necessary equipment for a stay. I enjoyed my stay there and Carlotta took time to give me some recommendations re local tourist sites.

The only thing I would say was that the bedroom was a little cramped , not much room.

The bedroom is so small (and the bed so large) that you can't walk around the bed, you have to climb OVER it. We didn't use the living room space, so it would have been nice to have more bedroom space. No sockets by the bed.

The location is absolutely perfect just a leisurely walk away from the iconic Ponte Vecchio, a stunning landmark that enhanced the charm of my visit. The inviting atmosphere envelops the space, making it an ideal retreat for anyone eager to soak in Bassano's delightful essence. With its warm décor and welcoming vibe, it offers a wonderful setting to relax and savour the local culture.

A few aspects could be improved. The apartment and the building felt quite dark due to limited lighting, and the older electrical wiring added to this feeling. Additionally, I couldn’t find a suitable desk, making it less ideal for remote work. Lastly, the air conditioning only operates effectively in the sitting room, leaving the bedroom warmer than I’d like for a comfortable night’s sleep

Carlotta is a great host.

The owner, Carlotta, went out of her way to help us. We had a problem with the original property we'd booked, to do with parking. Carlotta offered us another of her properties instead, a cottage that was just out of Bassano del Grappa, and it was excellent. A few days after we'd left the cottage, we realised we'd left something being. We contacted Carlotta, she found the missing item and posted it back to England for us and wouldn't accept any payment for the postage. Exceptional service from a lovely lady.

Nothing

I liked that it was an apartment. It had a good couch. It's definitely in a convenient location but a bit too close to everything noise-wise.

The major problem was that it was hot and there was no AC (although it says on Booking there is AC) so we had to leave the windows open and there were people partying outside until 1 am both nights (Th and Fr). There were also mosquitoes. The second major problem was the bed being too soft and uncomfortable especially for two people since you fell to the middle.
