Art Apartman

Fantastic location. A small, quiet village just a 15min walk to entrance no. 2 of the National Park. A supermarket was straight across from the apartment. A little hard to find but if you stand in front of the supermarket and look straight ahead, you will see the apartment (just look for the room with the balcony). Owner was lovely. Was nice and tidy with lovely balcony.

The drainage in the shower was frustratingly slow. By the end of your shower, you were standing in ankle-deep water which took over an hour to drain. You couldn’t have 2 people shower straight after one another, otherwise the water would have leaked out onto the bathroom floor. The bedroom was extremely small. No space for clothes, just one small cupboard to hang a couple of things.

It was a quite environment and nature friendly. Near to the entrance 2 when going to the park. Supermarket is just infront of the property. Very nice restaurant when you walk at the back of the property .

Shower drainage is too slow to drain. Toilet bowl was stained and my husband has to clean it and make it white. Noted thick dust behind the coach and under the bed.

We really relaxed staying in this apartment & had all that we needed. It was nice & quiet, has a cute little balcony & plenty of room. It is very conveniently close to a supermarket & a lovely walk through beech forest to entrance 2 of Plitvice National Park.The owner was very welcoming & very kindly went out of her way to give us a lift to the bus stop when we left so we didn't have to carry our backpacks there.

Location was perfect, and the aircon considering the heat was brilliant. The coloured lights was an interesting touch.

Everything was great

Location, location, location. SO near the park that we could walk to Entrance # 2. Right across from a market that had a pretty good selection of foods. Lovely enclosed patio. The kitchen has a lot of basic necessities. No toaster, but can use oven for that. Nice kitchen table where we found some yummy sweets to greet us. We appreciated having a washing machine, even though we did not get to use it. The sofa was comfortable, too. We did ask in our reservation to have 2 extra pillows. We did not get them but we found them inside the sofa storage. Just didn't have any pillow cases to cover them. Overall, the apartment serves as a reasonably comfortable place to stay.

The biggest discomfort came from the size of the bedroom. There is approximately 30 cm (1 foot) on each side of the double bed. We had to side-step to get into the bed from the side. Also, may we recommend either hanging bedside lamps on the walls or provide much smaller bedside table lamps than those that are provided. The lamps take up almost all of the bedside shelf so that we could not put other necessities on them. Also, the rack/shelf holder inside the oven wall is broken, so when we would try to move the rack for cooking, it would fall off. The appliances are pretty old, but they function. The owner has handwritten the numbers on the dials for the oven so that we could know how to set the temperature somewhat. It is a very small kitchen but it works fine. Oh, also, the faucet in the kitchen drips a lot. It probably just needs a new washer. Oh, yes! One other VERY important thing that we hope the owner can help with: There is almost NO place to put our clothes! There is one teeny closet above the vacuum cleaner and 2 teeny drawers in the kitchen that I cleared out to put a few items. We had to leave 90% of our clothes in our backpacks.
