Apartment: Very spacious, big kitchen which was well equipped. Comfortable sofa and beds, and everything was clean also. Location: Small town up on the hill, very friendly and familiar. Pigra is just a few kilometer (which is recommended to visit) away from the aparment and the Lake Como as well. If you are going to Switzerland also from there, it's not a problem, the border is also close to the apartment. Maybe there isn't enough parking lot but I'm assure you can find a place where you can park your car close to the building. About the owner: When we arrived, the lock on the main door was broken, so we couldn't lock the entrance door. I tried to talk to them, but firstly I talked with a lady on the phone and she said that they don't have any apartments outside of Milan. I didn't understand that because they were been given as the owner of the aparment. Next day they called me up and they apologized for the situation and solved the problem under 3 hours, so I'm satisfied with this too. Deposit: You have to pay deposit 1-2 days before arrival. It's a bit expensive, but don't worry, if they find everything well when you check out, they will send you back in 7 days after leaving. No negative experience. For this price, one of the best deal next to the Lake Como. Recommended.

Spacious apartment with private garden

Kitchen was not so clean, and not equipped with a tea pot. The house rules manual was not in the room, the link to the online version was not working, we received a working version only the next day.

Spacious clean apartment. Quite well equipped. Everything that is shown in the photos corresponds. Very nice backyard. Clear instructions for arrival. Prompt answers to questions. Positive communication. The road along the serpentines was a bit tiring, but it depends from which side you enter from. The price/quality ratio is very good.

I would add the basics: tea, coffee and salt with pepper to the kitchen set.

We loved everything about the property! It is in the most beautiful little medieval town. The hosts were very responsive and wonderful. The garden was available to be used which we so appreciated and enjoyed as we ate outside and just got some fresh air. Everything was well appointed and taken care of and worked perfectly, I cannot rate this any higher

Just to mention if you’re driving, it is a medieval town in the streets can be a bit steep or a bit challenging at least for me. It was as an American driver. The town is absolutely glorious and worth it as long as you’re able to drive in that Italian narrow road environment.

SCAMMERS who do not return the insurance deposit of 350 euros. Be prepared that there is communication with the client only when it is necessary to write off funds.

Loved the space this property gives, we stayed just two of us and it was so nice to have a bit of extra space for relaxing in the evenings! The garden is beautiful and we had sole use of it, this apartment would be great for a small family also

The decor was very dated which was a shame as the building and garden had such a beautiful rustic charm, could do with a bit of an update inside to match the beauty outside

The apartment was clean and tidy, I will highly recommend. There is huge garden chairs and table to set outside and relax in the sun. Location is a bit hidden but worth going there. There is very nice Italian restaurant close by. Also close to a beautiful Campione D'Italia such breath taking place to see. There is also a cafe there where you can enjoy nice coffee and see the beautiful mountains while sipping on your coffee.

There are couple of things I like to mention here. 1. There was no information available to connect to WIFI, I had my own internet but was the signal was not great. I had to ring the host number of times to get WIFI password. It took almost 10 hours to get that sorted. 2. I got a message from the host while I was on the way telling me that there are 4 people have checked in while we were only 3 and were still on the way to the apartment so not sure how did the host determine that there were 4 people checked in.

Everything went well, except the first night of arrival. I had arrived late, and although the host has send the passcode for the safebod to collect the keys. Booking.com did not forward the message to me, I ended up staying outside of the apartment from 11PM until 3AM. Booking.com still did not compensate me for this issue on their behalf! My advise, ask for the passcode before arrival even if the host informs you that they have sent it!
