The Retreat

Very clean apartment. The kitchen was very well equipped and little touches like sofa throws were appreciated. The apartment is well located and a short walk into the town.

I cant say there was anything we didnt like. If I had to make a suggestion I would say a TV in the bedroom would have been a nice addition. I know its not for everyone.

Fantastic location with a sea and beach view , immaculately clean , modern fixtures and fittings , local shopping within walking distance , friendly host , street parking with no restrictions ( although not guaranteed if peak season ) great price .

Fantastic flat, immaculate and very well equipped.

It was COLD, the heaters are locked at 20 degrees and there is no fuse in the heated towel rail so the bathroom is freezing and there towels didn’t dry. Contacted the hosts whose response was to use the hot water bottles in the wardrobe, not really the response you want when you’re paying over a £100 a night. We had to go out and buy a heater. Make sure you pack your slippers and something warm if you’re planning a winter trip.

Everything was thought of throughout this apartment. It was a perfect home from home. I like the fact that the owners meet you with the keys rather than have a safety deposit box like most places these days. It was spotlessly clean, well located, with plenty of free parking on the street beside the building.

The only niggle was that the Netflix didn't work when my friend signed in to her account but we were barely there to watch TV anyway :)

The bed was a double and I think in an apartment of this size a king size would have been better.
