Nefeli Rooms with Sea View in Kalamaki

Location is fantastic, so close to the lovely beach where turtles are nesting, with fantastic views from the balcony. It was very clean and the air conditioning was very good. It is quiet at night. The fridge in the room was a good size.

The kitchen was very basic, so not ideal for full cooking - there is only one saucepan and one small frying pan to cook with, a combination mini oven/hob, but no cooking utensils. The manager, as mentioned by another reviewer, can be overwhelming. He talked about being friends not guests, but you cannot nag paying guests about every small detail because their stay then becomes uncomfortable and unenjoyable.

The place is in a not too turistic or full place of Crete with a good sea and great food. The rooms have a SPECTACULAR view on the sea, it was such a privilege to be there. Manoussos was the best host, always welcoming, he treated me like a daughter. I loved everything

Manousos was an amazing host full of kindness and simplicity. Even though is not a luxury apartment the view is amazing, the location very convenient and hospitality of Manousos makes every little imperfection not relevant

The location was perfect, I had a sea view and could watch sunset every evening from my balcony. The owner was very helpful and friendly.

Location was good and close to beach and shops. Host was very friendly and chatty. Shared the good locations and offered some refreshments and fruits.

Older apartment with outdated appliances and fixtures, furniture but functional. Parking is limited in kalamaki. Shower was under steps and very strange set up. Functional but shower is almost under the toilet.

At our arrival we have been warmly welcomed by Mr Manousos, who offered us wild figues and raki. He gave us an upgrade of the room, so we could enjoy a beautiful and large triple room instead of the double one. Very clean, very comfortable mattress, nice terrace with sea view...wonderful to relax watching the sunset from there and wonderful to fall asleep with the sounds of the waves. The position of the pension is very close to the beach, around 50 meters, and very close to the main street of the village where we could enjoy nice dinners in good restaurants suggested by Manousos. We have been treated like family and that's the way we felt during our 3-night stay, in a family. We found Manousos a very special person, a kind hearted man, rich in positive energies. We would like to thank him for being so caring and attentive to details, from the very first day until our departure.

Lovely little hotel on the quiet side of the village and beach. Spotlessly clean. Manousos is very kind and very helpful. He is also very knowledgeable and an interesting philosopher
