Azores Black Mountain House, Estúdio e T2 Ilha do Pico

We really enjoyed the view from the apartment especially with the opportunity to sit in the Terrasse and see the sea and mount Pico - perfect spot to als watch the sunrise. There was a lot of daylight in the apartment. Having a washing machine incl. washing powder was also very appreciated. The water was reachable by foot (10min). Due to the fact that there are rocks and no sand, it is a perfect spot to go snorkelling. In addition to that the host of the apartment was reachable at all times. Note: A Taxi ride from the airport to the accomodation is around 15€ and the ride from the apartment to Madalena costs around 20€.

For a better atmosphere in the house in the evenings, warmer lighting would make it a bit cosier. I would recommend renting a car to be more flexible in order to reach different spots on the island as public transport is very rare (incl. supermarket 20min by foot).

La descrizione dell’alloggio non corrisponde alla realtà. Nella descrizione si parla di una living room con divano letto e una camera da letto separata. Nella realtà c’era un’unica stanza con letto, divano letto e cucina e per un gruppo di amici composto da 2 coppie e’ stato molto disagevole. Il letto scomodo, il divano letto per metà composto da una tavola di legno che ha reso quasi impossibile dormirci. Rapporto qualità/prezzo assolutamente non accettabile.

Propre et assez bien équipé. Bonne communication avec l’hôte.

Le manque de vraie lumière directe dans le studio du bas. Il n’y a que des vitres fumées qui sont assez oppressantes. La literie n’est pas très bonne non plus. La maison étant située près d’une petite route étroite, les locaux klaxonnent pour avertir de leur venue. Et cela commence tôt le matin, oubliez les grasses matinées…

Wohnung im Gesamten, schöne tolle Wohnung, private Terrasse oben, eigener Parkplatz, schnelle, gute und einfach Kommunikation mit Vermieter.

Keine Klimaanlage, bellender Nachbarshund, Hauptstraße gut hörbar.

Mooie woning met alles erop en eraan. Heerlijk balkon voor de avond. Geen bijzondere omgeving maar goed uitzicht op berg Pico, de zee en St. Jorge.

Locatie is te ventileren door ramen te openen. Ramen zijn niet allemaal van horgaas voorzien. Airco zou fijn zijn.

Veel ruimte, fijne douche, keuken met alle benodigdheden, privacy en hele vrolijke schoonmaker. Ook is er ruimte voor de deur om je auto te parkeren.

Het is een soort bunker die erg laag is met weinig ramen, waardoor je geen natuurlijk licht hebt. Als je een lichte slaper bent, zou ik oordoppen meenemen. In de vroege ochtend zijn er namelijk veel toeterende auto’s en een haan. Ook wordt het in ruimte door de deur niet helemaal donker.

Het is een ruim en schoon appartement op een rustige plek. Er is op loopafstand een openbaar zwembad en duikplek en duikschool wat ideaal is voor waterliefhebbers. En ook voor wijnliefhebbers is er een winery met proeverijen naast de deur.

De communicatie naar de beheerder was volledig op afstand. Verder is er geen vaatwasser waardoor old school afwassen weer onderdeel wordt van het vakantieplezier. Let op: er zijn twee 2-persoons bedden wat voor 2 kids wat onhandig is.
