El Balcón del Huéznar

La ubicación y la tranquilidad del lugar.

Era demasiado pequeño para 4 (2 adultos y 2 niños). En las fotos se van mezclando los dos apartamentos y no se especifica cual se te asigna. Creíamos que teníamos el balcón que daba al río y fue decepcionante ver qué nos habían asignado el apartamento más pequeño, "Tritón ", y sin balcón (solo la otra terraza que es compartida). El sofá-cama era un poco incómodo. Por otro lado, la nevera no funcionaba pero nos facilitaron otra que sí funcionaba.

El sitio, el entorno

La tranquilidad que se respira, pasamos 3 días maravillosos con nuestras mascotas en un entorno realmente maravilloso y tranquilo. El apartamento está genial,además de precioso cuenta con todo lo necesario para llevarte tu comida,etc.

Quizás añadiria un pequeño congelador.

El apartamento es agradable y bien situado.

El río está muy cerca pero fue una decepción no poder acceder. El frigorífico no tiene congelador, lo eché en falta para las tabletas de hielo, y el sofá es demasiado pequeño, suerte que iba sola. En cuanto a la limpieza es mejorable sobre todo en la mampara de la ducha.

During the rare moments of calm, the sounds of birds and the nearby river hinted at what could be a tranquil setting under better circumstances. Contrary to several previous reviews, the bed turned out to be surprisingly comfortable—an unexpected positive. There were also some suggestions provided for local exploration, which might have been helpful had they not been exclusively in Spanish and rather fragmented in nature. The intention was there, though the execution left room for improvement.

The location has potential, being close to nature and within reasonable distance of nearby attractions. Some may find the surrounding environment peaceful at times. The property is conveniently located for guests who enjoy rustic or “vintage” aesthetics, though this may not appeal to everyone. What didn’t you like? Unfortunately, the overall experience was underwhelming and did not reflect the high price point. The furnishings appear to consist mainly of outdated odds and ends, with a noticeable lack of maintenance throughout. The balcony, which might have been a highlight, offered no view whatsoever due to poorly maintained overgrown trees—something one might expect to be addressed in a hospitality setting. The technical installations left much to be desired: the sink drained sluggishly (when it did at all), the shower head appeared to have a mind of its own, moving unpredictably, and—most worryingly—the lights flickered every time the tap was turned on. This raises questions about the safety and upkeep of basic infrastructure. Noise preventing enjoying the sounds of nature was another issue. The noise from direct neighbors, pool guest at nearby hotel and barking and howling of dogs, seemingly part of hunting activities across the nearby hill The latter were not only disruptive but truly shocking—especially considering this area is supposedly within or near a natural reserve. Lastly, the general level of care—or lack thereof—was quite disappointing. The place felt neglected, and the experience fell far short of what one would expect for the price paid. A rather expensive lesson in managing expectations.
