- Sehr schöne und grosszügige (grösser als auf Bildern) Wohnung mit vielen süssen Details - super sauber - wichtigste Utensilien und Zutaten zum Kochen da - innen herrlich kühl (dank Stein und Klimaanlage) - Matteo ist sehr freundlich (hat sogar unsere Parkbusse bezahlt) Es wäre ein guter Ort viele Dörfer und Strände zu erkunden, bei uns leider einfach zu heiss (Baby) Für uns mit einem 4monatigen Baby war die Treppe und Parkplatz ein wenig aufwändig - ist aber nicht der Rede wert

We had a fantastic stay at Il Granaio in Castagneto Carducci. It was our favourite place to stay so far in Italy - beautifully renovated and styled with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. There were only two of us so we had a lovely amount of space, but there was room for more people. Matteo was a very responsive host and gave us clear advice about everything we needed to know. Although there was no parking, we were able to leave our car just a few minutes walk away in a free parking lot. It was no problem at all. Il Granaio was right in the centre of the old town - we walked out the door, up some steps and were surrounded by cafes and restaurants. We were an easy drive away from the beautiful wine village of Bolgheri and the Etruscan coastline for time at the beach. We will definitely recommend Castagneto Carducci and Il Granaio to others, thankyou.

it was so beautiful and tastefully thought out. nice bedding, towels, quilt

stairs are a little rough for older people but mostly the bed and pillows s have been a little better for my back
